I noticed that Yoshi's second katana is from the Fuma Clan, Taki/Natsuto's ninja clan. So there could be some backstory there.

Leixia/Natsuto dialog:
L: "Hey, lets see which one of us is stronger!"
N: "Right now? Okay."
L wins: "Success, I've taken the general! teehee"
N wins: "I'll do all the fighting, you just go be cute."
 
when Mitsu uses B+G throw on α Pat he says, "Pattycakes, this is war." and when he does the same to Xiba he says, "Boy, this is war." so far i havent seen any other varients for that throw. i got interested in testing it because during jaxel dome 3 i heard the pattycakes line and it made me lol. also fun fact, mitsu only seems to call α Pat pattycakes and not normal pat, idk y.

A bit of a meta example.

Algol when ringed out first goes "HOW CRUDE!"

When done a second time, he goes "DO YOU KNOW NOTHING ELSE?"

I can't help but think that this is a "take that" to everyone who primarily used ring outs to take him down in SCIV XD

Then again, all ring out quotes are amazing. They are simply greatness.

This struck me as hilarious tonight, at the end of Leixia's CE she still says "justice will prevail" to Patroklos, who is justice... Its like she really is "forfeit"ing :)

Noticed last night that when I threw Edge Master with Maxi he said something like, "Sorry old man."
 
Nightmare has a unique quote when winning against viola where he just groans as if he was in pain. This kinda enforces both the Viola=Amy theory and the Raphael=Nightmares host theory.

Maybe it's some father/daughter bonding thing vampires do.
With all the hints that Raphael gives, Viola's either Amy, her long lost twin sister, or in some sort of disguise or something.

Nope. I simply did my best to memorize their lines, only merely adding to what Heaton posted earlier. There are some errors, of course. But I think I'll correct them.

...Now that reminds me. Don't you think I should make a thread concerning these things in general for the curious...? After all, the individual characters profiles, voices and quotes that you do wish to see in the Theater Mode or something from earlier Soul Calibur games seem to be... missing from this game, unless I'm mistaken. Hmm.... =/

Annoying WENCH, Le Bello believes.
Wench was a common and deregatory term for women in that period.

It's because aPat was trained by Setsuka, Setsuka who has a history with Mitsurugi. He recognises the style and is mocking Patsuka.
