Yes! Cows! Lots of cows! I lived right next door to a lot of cows. And also goats, sheep, and geese. (I worked at an agricultural HBLA... most of those kids were not overly interested in learning English...) But... they say "ned" where you're from? I always heard "nitt." :p

Ok i dont live next door to cows, because i live in the city but i know that we have enough of them :) and purple cows too haha

such kids call we from the city "bauern" ^^

ah im from "oberösterreich" here we have an little bit different accent
When i say "ned" you hear "ned" ;P

That's actually the one part of Austria I have the least experience with (well, that and Vorarlberg... but even Austrians seem to forget about Vorarlberg.) But I think I know what purple cow you must mean - the one that really creamy chocolate comes from.

I've also heard the term "Landeier" applied to the country kids. :p They (and the families they come from) are actually really nice people, just somewhat different priorities in life. I'd go back if I had the chance.

Well, good luck with Aeon, with all those Natsus and Devil Jins and Xibas on the loose.

Bienvenue!

Welcome to 8WR! I hope you enjoy it here and make lots of friends.

I hope so!

I'd love to live in Vienna or Salzburg! Or go back to Klagenfurt again. Like I said, I don't know Upper Austria very well but I imagine it's very beautiful too.

I don't think you would really want to come to Iowa, however. It's definitely not the most exciting part of the USA. :p Though many students come here from China, Korea, Malaysia, and India because their parents want to send them to an American university, but also want to send them somewhere "safe." :p

I dont know how old are you, but Vienna is a great City for Party and big Events....but also a little bit dangerous (drugs, gangs,etc....)
I was in Salzburg 1 Month at the army (bundesheer)....not much time to see many things there....

I dont know much about iowa...nothing special there? :)
Safe is good ;P but also little bit boring...
What are exciting parts or places in the big USA? L.A.? NewYork? Las Vegas? Miami? aaaaahhh tooo much ^^

Title cracked me up! Welcome!

:D Thank you!

I'm 34. So, depends what kind of parties you whether or not those are on my agenda. :p It really didn't seem like a dangerous place at all to me while I was there, but I was there a few weeks total.

There's corn. Lots and lots of corn. And Slipknot (sadly...)

I'm a bit biased in favor of the southwestern USA. :p So, I'd say that Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Diego would be good places to visit, though most Europeans seem to really want to go to Miami and New York in particular. I've never been to either of those myself. So, can't really say much. Except that I have been to Florida quite often since my parents are from Florida and I think it's a kind of horrible, disgusting place. :p Mostly because of the climate and all the bugs and snakes. That being said, I ought to also warn you that most people who visit Los Angeles are pretty disappointed when they see what a trashy place Hollywood really is. If you ever go to Colorado, you'll probably LOL hard at faux Austrian ski resort towns like Vail. :p
