The AMAZING SC5 Online General Discussion Thread

I think I've done that with Leixia's CE before.

Some one I beat in a player room sent me this, "please learn more than one move before playing online." He consistently did the same combo during the match and tried to spam Cervantes' pistol. I replied that I didn't need to mix him up to beat him.
 
well gtfo isn t really the most cordial way of explaining people game concepts

Once you were on the other side of the "hate" and people you met explained things to you so you got better.

Try to do the same...

Also because if opponent cannot react a move the game gets boring for both...explaining him how to react makes the game more challenging >.>

I was going to make a joke about being left "forever alone" in that player room but I don't even feel like it

A lot of people are passionate about the game and get strongly opinionated and/or easily offended. I still think we tend to remember the B.S. and not so much the good stuff.
Where ever you go there will always be assholes. Yeah, there are some people so desperate for a sense of accomplishment in prevailing over others that they degrade others like winning a match was getting a PHD or something. And there's always going to be sore losers. In between there are a lot of cool people at various skill levels that you can enjoy playing. So, try to ignore the people who think any attention is good attention.

Back ontopic......i HATE fighting viola cause I dont know what the fuck Im doing. and I cant find someone to stick around long enough to let me learn a thing or two!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHGGGGGGHHHHHHH

Yeah and also GGs last night to some guy named Kestryel (or something like that). Ive never heard of him before, but his sieg is really good. Had a hard time keeping up with the mix ups.

If any of you know who he is.....Tell him I had to leave suddenly cause the wife was hitting me with her rolling pin. And that Id like to get some more games in sometime!!

If anyone wants to play a Viola look me up on XBL. I usually go to the fullest Global Colosseo where there's some variety. Player Matches are fun but they get a little stale without new blood cycling through. I usually just play ten to twelve matches there. I figure I'm average since I smash some people but get smashed by others. I've beaten 99% of the other Viola's I've gone against. I won't call them out though.

You actually make it through more than one match? Everytime I go to a player room I get kicked out after I win, and sometimes before the match even starts.

Don't mind them, they expect everyone to play at their standards. Don't feel discouraged if somebody calls you a bitch, or kicks you out of a lobby for ringing them out, or for using the same move.
 
8 games in a row without getting kicked, so hooray there. Sound advice seems to be don't beat the host too many times in a row.

Also don't spam 2KB/BE if you happen to play Mitsurugi (but it's so tempting).

How ironic. I go into a room where it says "spammers welcome" and run train on them. I lost 2-3 times due to being careless from trolling, but I always had a winning streak. Finally, I ended up with a streak so big I got booted because I was clearly just better than them.


And recently my Yoshi though not as good as this one dude named Ambioso or something. I lost to his solid Yoshi and Leixia. I received a message like "people won't take your yoshi seriously if you can't do earslicer". I didn't respond because I was like, "Gee, this guy thinks he's good then. I'll try my hardest to win."

Of course I'm still in infant stage trying to learn earslicer(which I'm still practicing on), but the funny part comes from this last match:

He picked Cervy and I went with my Yoshi. I thought I was gonna be killed by a good Cervy, but man was I wrong. He was doing that psycho crusher move(just framed and all) or whatever it's called so much, I punished him with BB with some other pokes and a bit of grabbing in retaliation. I win since he kept trying me with that move and other flashy stuff.

After my win, I get booted. No hatemail, but I was smirking and chuckling because while he defeated me more than I did, it felt good to get booted. I don't know why he booted me when he beat me two times, but I'm guessing he thought I was a scrub. No matter, Pocky Yoshi chuckles at this person.
