^Why not just buffer all direction inputs, then guard the attack and do B+G? It comes out as soon as the blockstun is done, unless the opponent uses an attack string. Those take too long for the prebuffer.

Ok, thanks! By the way, are you Chang's FD? =)
Something curious about CS buffering.
Situation: You put out 2A.
Scenario A: 2A hits, buffered into CS.
Scenario B: 2A is blocked, cancel buffer into CS to press G. Opponent BB's.
That was what I thought the situation is, up until now. Apparently, if you time it right, you can buffer in 2828 at the last frames of 2A and option select CS. If 2A hits as in scenario A, you proceed normally. However, if 2A is blocked and you just finished inputting the last 8, you can do:
2828(G)4666 (wait for blockstun to be over) release G B+G
Technically, you can start buffering 2828 during G, but then you may accidentally block low.
I haven't found out why this sometimes doesn't work though. I'm not sure if I'm just inputting it too slow, or if I should wait out the blockstun a little further before pressing B+G. Little more experimentation needed.

I think you and I have been thinking about this ever since the discovery of the prebuffer, but I'm going to be a skeptic for once and say that this technique will be very unreliable. The reason is, you have no idea what the opponent will do after they block 2A. Certain attacks can leave you with additional block stun, or can be followed up in a variety of ways. It's quite hard to predict and is ultimately very risky. It would just be easier to buffer CS off of blockstun like we did in SC4...
Because that's how they call it in Japanese language. Kuriminaru shimphonii. xD true storyRandom thought: Why do some people refer to this move as "Criminal Symphony?" I always cringe when I hear commentators say that.
As I thought... my hero!!! I am pleased to welcome you in our soul arena =) By the way, given you previous experience with difficult moves (your specialty) in older SC games, don't you also think that iCS in SC5 is probably the most difficult move in the history of the soul calibur series?Yes. Critical_Finish = Chang's FD , they are the same scrub :)
BTW, I have a friend can do the D-pad & Analgo method on 360 pad.
Do you want me to record his sexy hand ?
Because both "Criminal" and "Calamity" are correct, depending on where you look... I've lived in Asia most my life, so I've seen it officially called both... I'm sure most SCII veterans, especially those who played the Japanese version and followed old translated .txt gamefaqs, remember this...Random thought: Why do some people refer to this move as "Criminal Symphony?" Pretty sure only the last 20F of recovery are available for buffering. If people can't hit iCS in 40F, they sure as hell ain't doing it in 20.
