PSN/XBL Ragequitters

Here's an account of tonight's happenings, skip to the TL;DR for the gist of it.

So I joined a room that had available slots, turns out the only one besides me was the host and the nick BriceTheStamped. turned out the host of the room was asleep or something and didn't play, so I went 2-3 matches against Brice, lost all although closely, and there was no sign of lag in the matches. At that point I got annoyed with waiting for the timeout when the host didn't play, so I left the room. I then got an invite from BriceTheStamped, joined the room and started a match. I won that match, but just as I delivered the final blow I got network error and the room was terminated. A short while after I got a new invite, I joined the room. Brice was then playing some other guy, I waited a while and then the network error turned up again. At this point I knew that either Brice yanks the Internet cable when he loses or he has a very flakey connection, so I declined the further invites he sent. I went around searching for other rooms, and found a room with decent connection. Upon joining I noticed that Brice was also in the room, with no losses and (I think) 3 consecutive wins. After he finished his game with the host, winning, I got to play with him and lost. Still no lag. The next match is him against the host and the host beats him down with Nightmare, and just as he is about to win there is a network error and Brice disappears from the session. At this point I knew he will disconnect as soon as he is about to lose.

TL;DR
Avoid BriceTheStamped on XBL, everything will work fine as long as he wins, the second he is about to lose he will yank the network cable and there will be a network error.

lol haha wow im starting to see some familiar faces on sc again...I fought brice before on sc4....he was ranked number 1 on specials I think, at the time I faced him. And yep he tried to throw and low spam me on a 3 bar connection, despite that when I was about to win he pulled the plug...might face him again on sc5 just for shits and giggles lol

stuff about BriceTheStamped

This exact same thing happened to me. We had a Cervantes mirror, and he wasn't even that great, but the second he gets knocked down in the final round he quits. He sent me another invite, and replied as follows: "Yeah, right. Fuck you."

stuff about Fires of Ahura

He probably snapped between switching games and couldn't handle the amount of changes.

I usually don't mind rage quitters (it's a game and if your not having fun then you should go do something else), but don't wait until the last hit of the final round to quit.

FNG LolZ2 dropped on me last month. The only reason I remember is because I sent a typical LOL message, and he replied with a voice message that consisted of him rapping about how I was a jerk. I admire effort even if he puts none into the game.

One time I was playing MK9 and this guy teabagged me after winning, so I used my typical rage-inducing technique of walking away from the controller and letting him wonder why I'm not quitting or continuing. He sat there for like 5 minutes beatboxing with the x and o buttons (PS3) on the rematch screen before finally hitting no. He was actually pretty good too. I was entertained.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking Murdamood to just before the last blow of round six then quitting on him. I was just following his precedent. :)

I wanna tell you about a ninja...NinjaHo3 to be exact. We were having a match and while he was fighting well with Tira and I was rocking my annoying pink Xiba. I started to read him like a book and punish him for being obvious. So after trashing him for 2 rounds he quits as I am about to finish him. So as with all RQ I send a "stay free" to which he gave me a peek into his mind...I should have resized the images sorry and yes I'm still rocking a CRT TV

So I ran into him again and this time he tried using a CAS Viola. He attempted to keep me out but I still got in and kept him locked down. After one round he quit so I said...

To which he said...

So I ended it with...

I've always thought there was something wrong about NinjaHo. I mean, who the hell uses a CAS to play Tira? Lame.

I never was able to make him rage quit when I played him, even though I've faced him several times on ranked...This makes me feel like I lost at something. I think I'm going to blame my failure on the fact that I use Tira too.

I didn't do anything special lol about the only thing I did do was not let him breathe.

Has a named quitter that's been called out in these forums ever actually been a participant of these forums? That might be an interesting read!

I actually only recognize a few people on that list. They are new members. I dont see this going well!
I may not be a mod, but rage-quitting is still a coward's practice, and they deserve this type of humiliation. If they learn their lesson, their names will be lift from the list.

EDIT: Tioboid has been added to the list for trolling and rage-quitting.
