I'll Get You My Pretty And Your Little Created Character Too!

You should be hired.

Dear God.

Awesome!

You're too good at this.

Everything I want to say has already been said. It's hard enough trying to find words for these creations without everyone else saying it first. The monkey is amazing. The good witch is stunning. The Tinman is superb. Everything in here is outstanding. Like I said earlier, I don't know how you manage to do so much so well, but I am truly glad that you do.

Thank you very much for sharing.:)

1 is enough, provided you rotate/resize it right my dear ;o)
and the nostrils is an intelligent use of the gradien pattern on the heart...
doesn't that leave you with one free slot ?
just a guess...

Having trouble posting .... aren't those apples? I thought the gradient by the nose was the core...I love that things like this are still mysterious. I love that monkey!!!

maybe, then the nose is the bottom of the apple i guess

Sorry chobeck i misread the original post, yeah your right its just two apples the top one uses the bottom part of the apple core tp create the nose

Hmm.... I suppose a few compliments for each of your CaS creations are in order:

1.) Dorothy - While the first version looks sexy as one poster pointed out, the 2nd version looks more closely fitting to the original, yet reworked according to your whims to produce excellent results. Nice! ;)

2.) The Lion - I like both versions of this rendition. But like so many others here, I do find the second version more fitting (and the fact that your version of him is much more courageous than the original IS a badass bonus to boot!). Well done, I say! ^^

3.) The Scarecrow - This version of yours puts major emphasis on the SCARY part of him. In fact, he actually give me the shivers due to his resemblance to a certain boss from Persona 3 (and Persona 4 as a bonus bosss, I might add...!) named, "The Reaper!"

*BRRRR!!!!* ~_~

4.) The Tin Man - The first version is good. The revised version is just plain crazy! I really like 'em both. :)

5.) Glinda, The Good Witch of the South - An incredible design that warrants the "Magnificent Work of Art Seal" from me! Let me see here:

Nice use of colors? Check!
Nice use of face and skin tone? Double Check!
Nice coordination, use and placing of costume parts? Triple Check!
Nice thematic and correct pick of her fighting style? Obviously Check!
Nice overall quality? Definitely Check!

And did I already mentioned earlier that I like her potty-mouthed personality already thanks to you? Otherwise, nothing else needs to be said here...! :D

6.) Elpahba, The Wicked Witch of the West - This woman is wickedness incarnate, and as such, her clothes perfectly fit in her role as the antithesis of The Good Witch of the South. Incredible...! :)

7.) The Wizard of OZ - Very intricately designed to perfection. Another masterpiece that needs to be added to your collection since he looks incredibly classy! o_O

8.) The Flying Monkey - Now this design made me raise my eyebrows. Not only did you manage to give him a real monkey face, but you also seem to gave him Voldo's fighting style! That's a truly crazy idea that only a true genius can create.... Bravo! ^o^

Now I need to ask you this, though: Does he have a tail...? =/

In any case, well done on making another set of masterpieces for me and my fellow CaS players to see, Matty82. And, like always, I will look forward to seeing more of them from you. After all, I need more inspiration....

Thanks again.... m(_ _)m

You ever get that feeling where you find this really awesome CaS gallery that you really want to comment on, but there are just so many awesome things to comment on that you get overwhelmed and end up not saying anything altogether? That's happened to me multiple times upon viewing this gallery. Well, time to suck it up and get writing...

Your second batch of the protagonists are a vast improvement over the first. Dorthy looks great. The checkered tablecloth pattern works wonders for her simple country girl attire. I like how you extended her shorts with the use of stickers. The Lion looks great, too. Using the ears, hearts, and Algol's hair to build the lion's head was a great success. The Tin Man impresses me on a conceptual level. I look at it and think it's more a haunted suit of armor than anything I've seen before in books and movies.

Moving on to your witches and wizards, my favorite out of the bunch is Glinda. I think what I like about her is that the pink and white color scheme suits her character very well. There's also the fact that you actually rolled with the Valkyrie Armor's swan motif on the rest of the design with the Goddess' Feather Brooch and the Schwarzwind logo sticker. Elphaba and the Wizard, I'm not as hot on, but I like how you managed to give Elphaba something to wear under Ivy's 2P, which is already listed as underwear. The Wizard's logo on his hat is clever, too.

And now we come to your Flying Monkey. I don't know what kind of drugs you're smoking to come up with such brilliant solutions to design problems. I doubt there are very many other people out there that would've seen how to use special equipment to recreate a simian nose and mouth.

Creation mode is just a way for us to pass time, but I hope your work actually ends up taking you places.

Matty has an excellent eye for colors and is a brilliant costume design artist...just look at his avatar and you'll understand, he's made a CAS out of himself.
He is technically very good with special equipement (those haircuts) and most of his CAS convey his mood of the moment. Also, he is an addict of CAS creation, a bit like me, so i feel for him.
Sometimes, i'd like him to think even more outside the box to completely wow me, and i'd also like to see his CAS in true game form, because i am sure they all look great...

I like the thematic threads as well, to keep things fresh, like when i am trying on mine with new ways of sharing...
I wish i got such detailed comments like those of Lonewolf, Pascuzzi or Flip more often, especially with my recent efforts to elevate my stuff a step higher...but there is so much stuff i admit i can't even keep up myself ;o)

I normally don't "steal" stuff from others (well, there was this Adam once ;o), so i did not reproduce the technique or used the same objects, yet i gladly stole the idea of a monkey CAS a made a whole squad of them, so that was thinking outside the box, and it slapped me in the face nicely. It is somehow relaxing to steal because i usually got stuff borrowed from my CAS more often than not ;o)

I copied his Rococo Skirt techniques to create a Glinda. He replied by making a Glinda that completely obliterates mine in every way possible xD

Have you tried your rather talented hand at Bayonetta/Jeanne, Matty? It seems that you have an almost entirely different Creation mode compared to the rest of us plebs, so I imagine it would be do-able for you :P

Were the world to end tomorrow, I would be satisfied knowing that I looked through this thread.

Thank you :)
I can't remember who it was but someone has done a very good Bayonetta on here already. I don't really do straight forward recreations, so I don't thinkI could add anything to those characters

I'm certainly glad to hear that from one of the strongest designers on here, I sill would like to steal your insect ideas one of these days not that I think i could give it the same justice
