I must say this is a wonderfull idea, can't wait to see everyones ideas.
So here are my first two Lust and Envy
Sins of the Flesh shall leave your soul empty, Your LUST will only lead to your eternal fiery damnation
I have to admit there wasn't a huge amount of thought behind Lust, the main idea was victorian s&m! I also plan to use the associated colours with each sin, Lusts being blue (though she peobably more turquoise then blue)
ENVY will envelop you, like the venom of a snake it shall cosume you and poison your very soul
Envy is supposed to be the original sin that spawned the others, so I thought back to the orignal sin commited by Eve who was corrupted by a snake hence the snake motif, also the whole green with envey helped too

I guessed right!!!! Even though envy I got because it was the last one left :) I didn't want you to feel like a failure, especially not after such cool creations... :)
lust is my favorite, but you made some interesting choices that worked out well ... like with sloth... The cigar made him seem like a slacker and it works... Right now I have a couple of people started .... but I think you could easily mix up the sins and no one would know... :)

On a general note-Sorry I am so slow on my responses ... There are other comments I wish to make ... I hope to get to them soon... In General this has already been a lot of fun!

Anger turns into hate, hate leads you into war a great sin indeed, your WRATH makes you more beast then man
Despite probably being the easiest of the sins to make I had a hard time with this one! I ended up trying to make it look like she was slowly transforming into a monster, as if the inner anger was breaking loose
SLOTH achieves nothing! spiritually barren a life wasted, your idol life makes you no more useful then a souless stone
Sloth was possibly the most difficult yet! At first I tried to make a character appear sleeping which looked fine but I couldn't make a interesting outfit that read sloth. In the end I came up with the idea of someone so lazy that they eventually became a statue, along with the weapon style and stone effect it makes her look very slow and lumbering. I was also inspired by gargoyles and old church architecture

Envy: The idea is a normal girl causing disasters just by a look from her "bad eyes". Hence the village folks tied her eyes and "sealed" her powers using protective amulets/talisman.
Green is the color of envy. The superstitions against the evil eye are actually used in real life by those who believe in them (see Nazar and Hamsa). Her eye is literally her weapon, it's red because a red eye is more envious/evil (her actual eyes are red too). The snakes are there to break the monotony of her design, also a lonely/alienated person would probably have a pet or a familiar to talk to.

I always love your color and design work... On your thread (mixed in with the new batch of characters) She was a little overshadowed by my love of you elephant... but she it quite beautiful in her own right. I specifically like your use of the special equipment .That outfit is great but very recognizable ... I think your choices make it seem specific to this character.this one
