Soul Calibur Developers will help in the new super smash bros 4 wii u

So this is why Namco wasn't paying attention to SC... lol. Jokes aside, it's great to see that Nintendo finally got real fighting game developers on the franchise.

...Still not getting a Wii U though.

Hello i recently found out that namco bandai will help in the development of the new super smash bros wii u, devs from soul calibur and tekken will participate in the project soooooo it could be possible that a soul calibur character along with a tekken one will be present in the new (one of my childhood favorite series since nintendos best console ever, the n64, smash bros!!!!) super smash bros! last time they put snake from metal gear solid plus fighting game character guests are popular these days, so it could happen and you know it!!! type your thoughts below!

FYI: Yoshito Higuchi worked on the original DC version of Soul Calibur and then teamed up with Tales Studio to form Team Symphonia and directed Symphonia, Abyss and Vesperia. Although he's credited for working on the original ToD PSX, and ToP PSX.

I was wondering what he was up to after directing Vesperia.

By the way, I don't expect to see many guest characters from Namco's franchises in this game at all. This is primarily a Nintendo game after all. Having characters from Fire Emblem, Zelda, Soul Calibur, and Tales would really drench the roster with a number of high-fantasy sword wielding heroes. Sakurai was very keen to avoid saturating the roster with too many characters from one particular franchise or another.

That said... Star Fox and three clones... yeah...

While I think this is great so the series can get competitive again, I really hope it's not unrecognizable as Smash.

You know what the devs from Soul Calibur and Tekken should do? Make a crossover game between SC and TK. If they can work on a Super Smash Bros. Game, they can sure as well work on a game where we can see Hwoarang and Yun-Seong duking it out.

no thanks dont like tekken at all, prefer dead or alive or even virtua fighter

I think that Lloyd has a good chance of making it in now, since Symphonia was popular in both the East and the West.
I can't wait for the game now.

So you want a Soul Calibur x Dead or Alive crossover then. I can see it now...Ivy, Taki, and Sophitia taking on all the DOA Girls to see who has the biggest racks of all time.

well i would like a cross over just because it would make a lot of money for the soul calibur team increasing the budget and popularity for future soul caliburs, if the soul calibur team has a bigger staff and more money to spend on soul calibur projects then i guess well have complete content soul caliburs and not halfassed soul caliburs like the last 2 titles

I'm pretty sure we'll either get Pac-Man, a Tekken character or both (so at least 1 Namco character).
