The biggest thing that bothers me about the DLC stuff is that everybody online needs to have the Compatibility Packs you used or there will be a whole lot of people that will see your characters bald, in their underwear, etc. Can't they, like, do semi-regular game updates catching the other people who didn't get them on their own up? It makes me somewhat mad since I thought my cool characters looked as cool to everybody else as they do for me, and then alluva sudden somebody calls me a pervert for having what they could see as naked characters. Not cool, Bamco, not cool.

I agree thoroughly. There's a difference between 'sexy' and ridiculous. It gets to a point where they're just playing off the gimmick of showing you more and more of her breasts each game. In IV, there was absolutely no way the twins would realistically stay in place and I'm shocked that that thin little strip didn't snap when you broke her armor.
I usually hate all her 1P outfits anyway. Actually I really like her SCV 1P outfit surprisingly enough. She kind of looks like a burlesque magician. That thought makes me smile. :3

Yeah, her SCIV outfit looked so desperate and a really bad mess (in my opinion). I was disappointed with her during IV. That's when I noticed her voice changed (For the worse... I loved her SC2 voice the best), her outfits were atrocious (Her 2p was alright but still...). I just say this because before Tira came around, Ivy was my favorite female. Her outfits were sexy but still a bit classy at the same time. Like these awesome outfits she wore that I wish they would bring for DLC later on...

But I digress. Her SCV outfits are looking pretty nice this time around. I agree, I really like her 1poutfit a lot. Very elegant and sexy at the same time. And I love the burlesque aristocratic look it has. Finally, Ivy (in terms of outfits) has returned lol. And sorry about the long post Rocky, I kind of had this on my mind awhile now ^^;

On Topic: I'm really looking forward to Tuesday. I hope the next Character Equipment pack comes out. I really want Maxi's pants and jacket along with Viola's 2p and Raphael's 1p. lol

I don't think there is any good solution regarding this. They could force everybody to download compatibility packs, but I imagine there's plenty of people who would be annoyed to have to download hundreds of megabytes for a feature they don't even care about.

An optional user friendly way to become up to date would be nice though. Like a menu option which automatically queues up all compatibility packs for download.

In Soul Calibur IV this didn't happened.

If I'm not mistaken, when you don't download the latest compatability pack and go online, the game gives you a warning about missing parts. Some of my friends who hadn't gotten them yet but jumped on to play mentioned seeing them. Since actual patches would cost Namco money, they won't do that. So a Compatability pack is really the only way to go. It would be nice if the game had a splash screen like Ace Combat 6 did that advertised new DLC when it came out and gave you the option to go download it from the title screen though.
 
I agree with the splash screen idea. Namco's been on the right track with only releasing patches that focus on rebalancing the game and fixing glitches and infinites, so why stop? Perhaps in the next patch they could add a menu screen with a banner saying "New content is now available in the Cepheus Store!" or something.

Yeah, on the bottom right side for all that (useful/useless info), would be better if the have one on the bottom too, like BB:CS, but I know that's never gonna happen.

I definitely agree with that. I actually really liked her SCIII 2P outfit. It really struck me as something a mildly eccentric, lonely alchemist would wear. And her SCII pirate outfit didn't exactly fit with her backstory or anything, but it was pretty awesome. I just wish they'd keep in mind her actual personality, story, and even age when making her designs. I mean really, even by SCIV, she's was already getting up there in age. Her SCIV outfit was nothing more than fanservice.

I would hardly consider 32 years old to be 'getting up there in age'.
 
Alright Sectus, anything this time, since I guess it may or may not matter anyways, since the latest DLC article (google translation) mentions it being the last DLC delivery/release, and since its a big file at around 53MB's, there's sure to be something there, unless its more BS...
 
Yeah, well, looks like all of this may get scrapped/nixed anyways...Bamco already signed their warrant...
