RIP DLC

Not late, just getting it back on track. It's just discussion spilled over from the general discussion and upcoming DLC threads. :p

I'd rather they not dump their money into a better SC5. :( Putting it all into 6 now then later revealing they've been working on it for a year sometime next year, then releasing it in the year after would be best. :p
But they'd have to treat it like V never happened. They couldn't have unexplained things going off of their story that we never received in the game and thus people who played V but didn't research the other 3/4ths of the story then they would have no idea whats going on at all.

I dont care what they do they need to give Tira a move that forces her into mood change because I get so mad when I waste precious time doing a taunt to change her mood and it doesn't work.

Okay fair enough :D
You can beat your head into your ringblade once or a few times (it's random) for a quicker mood-swing. It's a risk move though. :p

Well, they -could- continue without deeper explanation. They've already done it... xD Would be the similar drama over such a decision, though.

You can do your CE. Taunting at the end of a round and doing 236kBE if that fails nearly guarantees a mood change.

Now ask yourself the question why they wan't her mood changes to cost meter? -.-
I do wish you could do her moodswings on command and didnt hurt yourself with her. Many a game has come down to the wire tension where one hit decides it and all of a sudden the Tira falls over dead from self damage.

Well and i wish siegfried would be as fast as natsu (nope not serious) but its just not how the char is designed. You have to think about what you are asking - if it would be that easy to change her moods, everyone would always play in gloomy and no one would use jolly (which was exactly the case prior 1.02) and this was totally against the char design.

Then you're just unlucky.
It'll probably fix itself just like the bug in my game that even with the catalog other people's created characters wouldn't show up online for me, and today it just magically fixes. Probably the same will happen to my Tira playing (It really is fun playing as her though)

Okay, that would make sense. I always thought for some reason I was the only one who favored gloomy (So, so much).

At least you're having fun. That's what the game is about. :D

Yes gloomy is designed to be extremely powerful while jolly is designed to be weak. She is supposed to randomly switch between being awesome and sucking. Thats also why changing moods is supposed to be difficult.

But Jolly has never been "Weak" to me, its just been more of a favor to gloomy. And winning in Jolly always gives me the feeling of being a badass (Those quotes man). In fact, Tira's jolly has a much better 1K to me.
I'm not going to answer that question, party games aren't true games. It's just a bunch of half baked mini games.
Okay I'll agree with you on that.

Of course they wouldn't go as far as making gloomy totally overpowered or jolly useless, there may also be moves from jolly that you like better but overall its not a coincidence that you would prefer gloomy.
