19 wins with zwei reflects the player not the character. And online you can get 19 game win streak with any character. Every character is viable. Having a A rank doesnt make you a good player.

I have a friend that gets really picky with his room he kicks people who main Nightmare or Astaroth, I seem to run into rooms that really are strict with certain characters (ex. No Damps!) <-Had one like that some time ago. I've seen African Oldman and I went to his rooms, he never seems to play or anything, does he rly just watch fights?

i legit fought the same person twice and right before i finished him twice, he disconnects... Not only that but he sent me an excuse saying his internet disconnect -_- its such a shame how that could happen twice in a row right before the finishing blow. However no matter how i hate a character(*cough natsu and astaroth") i wont go as far as to say you cant use them in my lobby

This right here, this a reason i dont judge characters by tier(even though i will get mad :p) Ive managed to beat some decent Natsu,patroklos, and even Alpha patroklos players using nightmare(meh, im not the best) Not a matter of being 500 w and 0 l, or being ranked A1. Like i said, my friend who uses Zwei usually demolishes me when im using Nightmare. x.x

Those are the lobbies to avoid. If the host is dense enough to invite trolling like that *AND* gets salty enough as soon as they see a character to kick the person using them, they're not worth the time of you or anyone else. But if they're your pal and s/he trusts you, you should see about persuading them to discard the shackles of scrub thoughts and improve. What I've learned in the time I've spent here is that everyone's goal(outside of tourneys) should be helping everyone else get better so we're all a good fight for each other and we all benefit :D

Halfway decent Leixia player(you don't become non-scrubby by sitting around watching other people fight >.> ), but he seems to have a major boner for CAS and something against serious players. He onced booted me when I was using only default 1P/2P costumes after I beat him in a close match...and then everything was apparently fine when I returned and started using CAS...That's almost as crazy as I am.
 
I always see AO rooms all the time usually they are empty but I guess I'll go join in since most of the time I'm fighting to not get boot off from other rooms, makes me wonder why I dont make my own room......ah thats a mystery that wont be solved anytime soon :D

Funny story about african old man, went into his lobby got like 10 game win streak he decided to play me. It was lexia vs hilde PRE PATCH. I won and he booted me....... never went in there again

Maybe he thought u were a serious gamer :O but I am interested to challenge him..........maybe tonight if I see his room, rarely do I not see it xD
 
I sent a quitter a one word message: "Ha". He proceeded to continuously invite me to a match. When I went to delete each invite he would already be back at Astral Home. I wish there was a troll trophy to hand out.

I think I've fought you before DoM I'm not sure but I think you destroyed me pretty good and I wish there was a troll trophy to hand out but then there are too many trolls to keep count
 
For some random reason I feel the need to defend ranked :p

In europe situ: You play enough ranked and you will meet friends (or enemies :] ) in that mode. When you play enough, you will remember the regulars. Not sure if in the States there are ginormous amount of players. An A rank (or title? :p ) seems to quite effectively weed out players, a lot will not fight you. Friend matches are cool an all but i can tolerate about 5 (to max 10) matches with the same chars, then i want a change (a change at least in playstyle) (peeps prolly have 1 to 2 mains only, i will not switch mine if serious business involved).

A random player match or gc: If you are not kicked immediately, you will play one game, one game! and then you will be kicked. It doesn't even matter if you win or lose you will still be kicked. Massive patience will be needed to find a game (that will not kick you) and at a given time, one might not even exist.

Short version: Ranked is hype and I get hyped just watching myself fight. In fact, time to drink and play some more today : ]
