CAS I have made...

Apocalypse and xavier are great, we have a very similar gladiator but I prefer your darker colour palate. Great use of the roman headpiece for the hair

see we like Marvel too!
:)

I grew up reading Marvel ... practically I learned to read with Marvel Comics and I love the universe (with some exceptions of course... I hate everything from rob liefeld for example hehe) I have a giant collection
in DC the only that I really like is batman (but within the universe of gothan only) without other heroes together, and enjoyed the LOBO stories also

MARVEL RULES

Creepy but also beautiful, now that's an odd mix. Amongst the sea of bright yellow spandex this design is pretty distinctive. I really like the colours and how they are almost lifeless. The furry touches are also very nice. Overall this is a very unique and affecting character (for me, at least).

And a combo string of great recreations...with a psycho pig into the bargain! Brilliant!

...no pickles...I love it. Cerv's style is a nice fit given his teleporting shenanigans and a gun sword is exactly the kind of ridiculous, excessively violent weapon Deadpool would use, "Because it's COOL!". Calls for a new avatar, I think.

Awesome as usual, chobek. :D

Joe's answer would be different than mine on this ... he was pretty dedicated to comic books for a while, but for me I love Super Heros mainly from cartoons and movies .
When I was in kindergarten I would run home to watch Battle of the Planets and Spiderman (Happy Days too ... maybe I will make a Fonz ... I live in Milwaukee after all it is almost like being patriotic). I loved Super Friends and the live action Batman. I never stopped being interested.I never stopped watching. I was kind of a tom boy so instead of Barbie weddings I had lava pits and last minute rescues.
I have become familiar with more than just tv and movies ... but I think I respond to the characters so much because of my initial childhood experiences.

With Marvel and DC ... I will never stop loving the icons .... Wonder Woman,, Superman..... but I prefer the range of psychologies (?) with Marvel.... (Batman is a little different)
Hulk is my favorite ...( speaking of childhood memories) when I was very young I remember thinking could understand him... I would be nice to him and become his friend...
:)
I guess I like the freaks...

I made it for the Iron CAS contest (.... but never entered ...same with the animals...) I had in the back of my head the Terracotta Warriors .... and thoughts about robot technology at that time .... it isn't very accurate or researched ... a poetic historical day dream kind of ....
:)
... and I keep trying to use that mask for everything (even though I know it is Japanese) and this is why ...
I found this on Wikipedia...
-----------------------------------------------------

Three pictures of the same female mask showing how the expression changes with a tilting of the head. In these pictures, the mask was affixed to a wall with constant lighting, and only the camera moved.

The mask in the game has a similar effect and I just .... well... I think it is neat.

also.... It makes me happy that people like the x men .... It was so much fun making them and playing with them.
:)

thanks

KittenpasteCo and Matty Thanks !
I always feel weird responding to praise ... but it means a lot to me ... and makes me happy ... (to be honest)
so thanks ....

and ... Just so you know ...........
Matty, we loved your X Men ... in fact we plan on recreating your sentinel even if we make our own ... Just to keep him alive ... we were very disturbed to hear that you delete some of your characters. He must live!
:)

well... my passion for marvel comics came from the comics only ... to tell you the truth I always hated the cartoons and sitcoms, to those who read the comic books, that kind of thing ridiculed the heroes
later came a series of bad movies in 80 and 90... only after Blade that started to make good movies
my favorite hero has always been the spider, but actually always liked more villains than heroes, my favorite is the Magneto

by the way... who is Joe?? hehe

I can see that angle too ... I found it difficult to get into certain movies because I read the book first....

I also had a friend in High School who gave me a stern talking to about liking TMNT cartoon ... and he brought in lots of comic books for me to look at, so I could see why I should hate it ... He was mad in the end, because I just ended up liking them both. :)

I AGREE on the villans thing though!!! I love evil geniuses and mad scientists!!!! In fact I made a superhero CAS allong those lines for Labello's challenge.... :)he he he (it is kinda goofy)

hopefully I will post it this time.....

about hulk being my favorite ...
... it is hard to pick.

I wanted to be like Wonder Woman...

I loved Spiderman and felt like I could relate to his problems most.

and Hulk...
Hulk I thought about the most ... when I was 4 I remember being so traumatized by the problem of his anger making him a monster. I thought that if people just tried to understand him everything would be ok ... but I also liked his power .... I liked that when he got angry he was unstoppable.

so today Hulk is my favorite .... but I feel like I have given other answers when asked the same thing on.
:)

There was a miniseries on TV when I was a kid ... I remember only little bits of the plot and made up the rest of the story in my head.
Basically there was a luxury liner that sunk into the ocean. There was an air bubble trapped inside ... the people lived and after generations turned into fishy humanoids...
I thought of that while making this ... but she might be from Mu or Atlantis ... Who knows ....

Notes
-she looks much brighter and more Garish on the computer .
-I think I might have unintentionally stolen the eyes from Fliptop ....I saw his Michael Bay Jurassic Park creation before making this .
:)

The thing is excellent...pattern works perfect, and the use of the boxing gloves is the right way to go for ;o)
Punisher is pretty good too, especially the skull part.

And that atlantis monster is a gnarly and eerie CAS, i like it, kinda reminds me of Rango a bit...
I'd probably have used 2 fish tatoo instead of the pattern for the face/mask part, because it kinda distracts me a bit, but it is a lot more complicated i guess...

reminder : i am back home, new CAS have been posted in my thread

Tirarules:

I have been looking for more info for you on the Toki custom ... unfortunately I think I must have deleted it. I found some fairly specific pics that should get you most of the way there... but I don't have specific info on sticker placement or color.
Here Is what I have :

"HUUUG!?"
Such a bizarre creature. She's the total opposite from that sad, lifeless masked character from earlier. Similar in the way that she's endearing but those colours are so lively. Just a teeny suggestion (which you can of course throw out the window if you want) is maybe to have the arm bands and the shoulder spike the same colour as the helmet's trim. That's a tiny detail, though. The colour choice is fantastic. :D
