Here a question..This is "NOT" Kasumi or Hitomi..then who is this then?

...i remember that hayashi mentioned in an interview that to..thats not Kasumi or Hitomi(plz dont ask me which/where that interview was!

Just look at the different hair color etc..hmmm
 
I AM SO HYPE FOR MY FIRST DOA GAME, this game will be good, i know it, especially with the release date delay so unlike incomplete SCV
 
Im hyped too :D Its only 2 months from tomorrow x_x
I love me some DoA, even if I've only played Dimensions on my friends and the demo of 4 (The hair physics bothered me way too much in 4 though.)
 
So I was thinking I might pick up DOA4 just to become more familiar with the system, since I have barely touched any DOA. It's probably super cheap since it's so old. Good or bad idea?

Well I'd recommend DoA Dimensions (I havent played any games but barely, DoA 5 is my hope of actually getting familiar) I'm going to be borrowing my friends copy of DoA 5 so I understand the story atleast a bit.

i wouldn't recommend DOA dimensions at all. it has too many mechanics that aren't going to be in DOA5 and weren't in DOA4. it would teach bad habits. i would go with DOA4. it's super cheap too.

Oh. I thought since it was the most recent it'd be the most accurate. But I guess 4 would be more accurate since its a full title versus a mix of all the past story modes.

yeah. also DOA:D has fireballs and characters that would never really be playable in a main title game. Alpha? Ayane's dad? gtfo!

I hate to do it bur which interview was this? Lol. Now the reason I ask is just that the poster girl looks a little too much like kasumi. Not saying you're wrong but if you're right it seems like a bad idea. Why not something a tad more original and visually distinct?
 
@ Amanda I have no idea, I could have sworn that was either Kasumi or Hitomi lol...

@ Jet Set picking up DOA 4 Is A must if you want to have even a small fighting chance when DOA5 comes out. DOA is a game in which people will destroy you if you cant hang. You need to know everyone's combos so you can counter them, and anticipate their attacks (because everything is really fast). + DOA 4 like all DOA tittles is a must own I think because of it's beauty.

And the music video endings; :D which I would describe as a sorta of Avant garde anime music video. Which is actually genius if think about it. If it were actual little movies with plot you would get bored watching them after the first few times, but this way they are sorta of timeless.

OK, I am clearly a fan....
