iCS/CS and SS information

I've been trying to figure out how the buffering works with CS. I find it quite easy to buffer CS from for 44B or A+B for example. It's also doable to buffer it from AA or BB. But for some reason I find it very hard to buffer it from (B). Does any of you have an explanation for that? I feel kinda certain that I do the move correctly, but only a normal B+G throw comes out, like the game doesn't recognize some of my inputs. It seems like you have to wait a bit before you can begin buffering it, whereas for A+B you can begin right away.

I've especially been trying to work on a 22B BE -> CS trap (no sure if this is a good idea though, just something I found fun), but even though it has a very long animation to it, it seems like I can't use all of it for buffering the CS move.

Another thing I've been trying is to do CS out of guard. It's important for me to know how viable this is, because I use a two handed technique for inputting CS and I'm not able to do this while holding G with my right hand. So if I am to have any luck at this, I need to develop my "one handed CS technique". But, the reason I'm reluctant to do this is because it seems impossible to buffer CS while holding G without having Ivy duck and jump, which kinda ruins the purpose of holding G, because she's probably going to get hit anyway then.

Is it possible to buffer CS while holding G without having Ivy jump/duck? Is it worth learning to do this?

lol a Bugatti Veyron doesn't need a Nitrous, but it would be a nice add on xD
I think that would only slow me down. Thing is, doing CS like that you have no control over the stick. If you look at the video you can see that when it bounces back it adds a lot of additional directions (lije 282828464646 etc), essentially slowing down the input.

Isnt this essentially cheating? You are allowing yourself to use a 75-90 DAM throw that was intended for people with the skill to actually perform it. I know Enk wont use this because he doesnt main Ivy, but some people watching may get ideas. It is like rapid fire buttons for shooters.

Hey I dont use her, and when you do see her, it is obvious the person is cheating. But using this stick, you are practically invisible online, and in offline tournies, they may not know it yet.

Also Lexigol was Xouls not me

Maybe it would be cheating if we had some kind of standardized control setup for tournaments, but since we don't it's really not.

Besides, back when SC was still an arcade game most of us were probably playing on that kind of stick anyway. If someone still wants to play on HAPP parts, more power to them I guess.

Also (and I'm sure I'm not alone) I use turbo for some SHMUPs because it makes my buttons last longer.

lol those with a bit of skill, can execute CS from standing anyway
I personally on ps3 can buffer it from anything lol incl B, 2K, JG GI
using the stick is a disadvantage,

And that is good and all, but wouldnt it annoy you if someone could perform the move you do in 3 buttons? With a chance to JF too?

By watching that Vid and having that pad, you can perfect iCS in 10 mins.
