I threw my last forces into doing this, clips from our encounters with Le Bello, from days of yore to most recent match-ups, and a few things in between, trying to tell a story of some sort.

I am still sad nobody (xcept Le Bello) liked or even watched my playlist, but i guess pics are more popular...
Oh well...

This time around, sacrificing my very last minor CAS alternates to produce a few 3Ps and originals.

Never say never, but that will probably be the end of it, the board being at an all-time low...which i understand so long after release...
i went to the very end of my slot capacity to do those...and i hope Le Bello can get the feel of them next time we meet, if we bump into each other that is...

- Siegfried 3P The Ninja Knight
This CAS theme is centered around the weapon, yet i went a different path with this one than with my Natsu Ninja

I made the dead eye connect with the scar like on Columbus Sieg

- Leixia 3P aka The Dark Knight
Here another weapon centered CAS (the "chevalier" weapon for Leixia) and a full armor that, coupled with the
swift moves, give a very nice feel in-game

- Algol 3P aka The Spetsnaz General (Boss of Spetsnaz Ivy, remember ;o)
Lil Vil wanted a military themed Algol, so i tried to do a different build than El Che Cervy, and made the two colored eyes using a pure ring on the left one (right on the picture), painstainkingly positioned so it does not hide the pupil...the effect is...stunningly menacing ;o)

Hilde 3P aka The Praetor
Another take at Hilde, roman style, again matching the weapon, battle worn with missing piece of armor revealing part of her feminine chest

Raphael 3P aka the Olympic Fencer :
Another weapon themed CAS, this weapon being very similar to the sword used at London Olympics, i tried to build a CAS around it (with the hit detection lights, red when you are hit, green when you land a hit, just like IRL ;o)

Now i wanted to end this new CAS collection with an original...

Playing DOA5, i could have done Brad Wong eyes closed, but I thought of doing a female version of the Drunken Master instead, called Drunken M. (for Mistress)

The choice of Dampierre's style was obvious, as it bears ressemblance to that of Brad Wong for instance (ground strikes etc.)
A lot of small details to give the CAS, rosy cheeks and nose, a ragged / drunken bum look (with red wine stains and vomit, dust etc.)
Also, the voice i chose is the supernatural one, which is hollow and a bit off, exactly like a drunk girl would talk !

The Ice Cream man is Mr Neopoli. He's in your videos! His icon is an ice cream cone with a star on it. He's the white suit/pink pinstripe fellow. Hence the name "Neopoli" from "Neopolitan". (Also he's a super hero who fights crime from his mobile Ice Cream Van Lab. Yup.

This board is getting weird, i come back, i got like 20 likes from all sorts of people (mostly on my thread), yet no comment...Pocky Yoshi has yet to comment on our last CAS show-off...

nuff said, now to some other stuff

Lil Vil is soon 8 yo, so i had to prepare the invite for the birthday party, here is the cropped version (without all the boring text around it)...one of the activities is gonna be a junior soulcalibur 5 random tourney (there is a 99% probability Lil Vil wins it since none of the other kids own the game, but that is why he thinks it is cool)
We will also probably do a kid CAS contest, with kids getting 10 min to do their own CAS and a grand Jury (me) giving out my top 3 pick (out of 10)...
Winners gets...ninja candy ?

It is like you are not the only person having issues with logging in/posting lately, maybe that would explain the low activity, who knows...be waiting for your full comment the time it takes for you to make it work ;o)

So we had our no holds barred session with Le Bello, and it was a bit of a mixed bag, because as opposed to our last session, lag was too much of an uninvited guest...

Its ridiculous to see all your moves trailing behind the opponent's, those impossible cancels and priorities that do not exist when you play locally, and it makes me want to eat my controller ;o)

...there were some instances where it was less noticeable and where i wasn't completely hopeless, but still, it ruined the fun for me (no timing), except for a few of those Le Bello vs Vil instant classics, and sir Le Bello pulled off some very classy moves (natsu combos, cool Algol CE which i happened to just have learned but couldn't pull off with my Spetsnaz Algol ;o), silly ROs and stuff...and all those ABs broke my heart ;o)

Sorry for all the pointless gibberish, just had to get out...oh and i do love our CAS show off courteous sessions even more.

I hope Le Bello will ease my mind with friendly words, really, because i need too...or i'll just stick to playing local...

In order to turn this post into something positive, let me post a few pics of the CAS i showed Le Bello today, he'll comment if i haven't pissed him off too much with today's bad karma ;o)

i had that shadow CAS too (did you like him Sir ?) but the pics were too dark ;o) (meaning : did not take any yet)

I forgot to comment on the Robot. It's VERY cool, a metallic golem cyclops with a lot of cool appeal. The zip sticker stretches around perfectly in motion, really capturing the image of muscles without much unseemly distortion and warping.

I don't tend to like robotic CaS, but this one is different.

I decided to RO myself because of how horrifying your Nightmare Wasp thing is! It's cool, and EVIL. Excellent job.

By the by, Shadow is AMAZING. Such a simple thing, but so powerful in it's execution~

Though Hilde was my favourite. I nearly had a Roman one, but I already had a Gladiator character, as you saw.

I'll probably post a few pics of shadows and some bits of our replays in your CAS thread...comments (and even "likes" are a dying breed on this forum, but it is all understandable, so it is probably time to draw the curtain...i can safely say we have had some incredibly fun matchups overall, and Lil Vil and I never grow tired of watching them once in a while...
