Good shit to Mateo for taking 1st and of course Hawkeye and Bill placing 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Really enjoyed the stream save for the garbage/salty/retarded commentary during the GFs. Obviously it's a great idea to shit talk the community, the game and pretty much everything else you can imagine while a tournament stream is running it's finals. Fuck off and stick to w/e it is you actually play (and still probably bitch about).

See everyone at NEC in about a month.
 
I don't know about you whether it's ok that they were tired or what but I feel pretty... angry I guess at how disrespectful the commentators were during the final match ups. Two players who lost in the Top 8 commentated as stand-ins and both bsed the game, saying they were quitting; whether they were serious or just QQing I don't know, but that as well as the immature language and dissing throughout the whole things I personally feel insulted.

Dunno if i'm over reacting but the games played today were all really clutch and really entertaining, but I don't feel this game is going down because it's going down, but it's going down because people who are QQing and are ignorant to the series are bsing it so much that it's putting uneducated opinions into other people's heads.

Second I can see that the people who won: Mateo, Hawk etc, they like and enjoy the game, so they win. So the correlation between those who lost and said 'they have stopped playing' just goes to show what kind of situation the players here are trying to diss about in the game.

Meh this is probebly in the wrong place so i'll just cut my rant here and go to bed.

Really good games played today. Props to LP and Hawk for some really epic matches. I love watching you guys and hope to see you soon in the future.

Well I seem to have started it for you so I see no reason why you should hold back lol. Besides i'm always up to hearing a possibly more educated opinion than my slightly tired one.
 
Yeah, have to say there were some reason good matches in top 8.

Props to that Algol player, probably would have got a lot further if he would have mixed up his 2A mixups but good for a first showing.

Good showing to all the other players who did well too.

I agree about the commentary, it was really killing my buzz to the point that I muted it.

If you're salty whatever, but don't try to present the game like something it isn't just because you aren't doing well.

Hell, I know there are plenty of people who think Marvel is random but they can still get commentary that doesn't involve a lot of bitching.

Me ranting about it isn't going to change anything. People have been salty about this game in one way or another since it came out, so I'm not surprised the commentary was the way it was. I'm just glad I got to watch it, and will look forward to the next event on the calendar for SCV.
 
Fun times getting some SC5 matches in against everyone I played on Saturday at Youmacon. I got 9th place, which isn't bad considering I got knocked outta the SC5 tournament by Hawkeye & LP. Good games to Matt, Devil Chipp, Hawkeye, & LP in the tourney. Good shit guys. Definitely awesome times chilling with Mateo, MysticBill, LP, & Hawkeye the whole weekend, as well as shooting the shit with everyone else. This weekend was pretty badass & full of great times. Hope to see everyone at NEC.
 
Grats Mateo!! I only got to see Mateo vs LP so far and it was amazing. Even though it was clutch it was good seeing Viola get beasted on by Mitsu.

Also grats to Mystic Bill for busting into top 3, and of course no surprise with Hawkeye!
