His highness (remember ;o) says you have improved quite a bit, your designs remain slightly unoriginal yet are very competently designed, must be faring very well in-game and being scary/adorable.
I especially like what you did on the back of that maxi with the tiger sticker and all, *wink*
All your chars fit well in the SC univese, with good coloring and patterns, and a creative use of special equ...

haha, thanks. I'm glad you like them. The idea behind this set of "3p's" was "Generic character-specific costumes". What i did for each character was to try and use the most basic look, but have one or two focal points that had greater detail than the whole. As for the colors... Imo, they show up a bit brighter than i had intended.. but they worked out.
As a general rule, the characters that i like the most had more time put into them.
 
Thanks for sharing your design choices, what you wanted to achieve is definitely a success.

The more time you put into a CAS the better, absolutely, on some like the mantis i must have worked no less than an hour ;o)
 
They're very interesting and I can see the experimentation you've done. I might need to do something special for the cast of SCV besides taking Yoshi and females and play dress up. Thanks for reminding me.
 
Your 3P's are certainly an interesting lot, though the ones of page two are, by far, weaker than the ones of page one.

Don't get me wrong, some of the stand out - Sieg, Mitsu and Raph are superb, but the rest are a bit... Dull? I don't know, they're nicely made, with some clever techniques and some great colouring, but there's something lacking about them. Especially compared to, say, Seer Viola and Fool Voldo, who're perfect.
 
Most of these are quite competent, but you've got a couple of gems like the Soul Calbur/Soul Edge original that really shine. I'd love to do a detailed review for you, so drop something off at the CaS review thread!

Really liking your designs, especially the one that looked like Setsuka as well as the personification of Soul Embrace. I also like how you emulate Elysium's mask on males.
