PSN/XBL Ragequitters

I used to work in an Xbox Arcade, so I used to see a lot of different people play the game. One particular incident stuck out to me.

I had this little guy friend of mine. Somewhere between the ages of 8 and 12 years old. He was quite the jolly little character and it seems everyone else was a die-hard Call of Duty fan, so I was hard-pressed to find people who shared my passion for fighting games. The little guy was one of the only people I could play SCV with on my off hours. Just to give you an idea what kind of player he was, I used to catch him with Astaroth's :2::2:*:8::8::B: all the time, just to make sure he got the idea into his head that he could actually side-step, and he would praise my "great skill" for being able to catch him with that move so much. We both used to lol around with Astaroth's huge axe. Anyway, he didn't guard very much and surprisingly enough at such a young age, started to figure out air combos with Astaroth and Cervantes, so at least he wasn't as scrubby as some older players, sadly. But still, he never guarded or side-stepped very much.

Oh the fateful day, I remember it so vividly. He just burst out laughing in his chair, so I went to see what was going on. Through his wheezing laughter, he managed to mutter out the single word, "Ragequit!" before doubling over laughing again.

"Connection has been lost due to opponent leaving."

Man, I wish I had caught that gamertag. If only he know he ragequit to a button-mashing 12-year-old Astaroth. He probably caught him with :2::3::6::B::+::K: to push him over the edge or something ridiculous that should never happen. I know he used to throw that move out for laughs.

And it wasn't lag either. I could see the two gold notches indicating he was on the final blow.

XBL just made me look, kind of, like I ragequit.

Was fighting against a decent Raph who had some psychic blocking skills. It's 1-2 to him/her, the fight begins, I step and it disconnects. Joy.

On the 8 wayrun player match server. no quitting, but refusal of fighting, DR Pepper WTF, and the crowd, whining about mitsu, about asta.. whining about turtling, pretty much everything.. a fucking joke and a terrible experience so I think this counts.

I went to just fight, but these guys just bitched about everything.. and just fucked around (not fighting at all), fabricated some kind of statistics when I lost (pretty much me versus them). Lying on the ground taking hits, jumping of the stage on purpose.. (whilst talking shit) oh boy haha

One thing I said "the connections are what they are, we have to make the best of them", the thing that pissed me off, was the lack of fighting, self-important little shits.

Maybe someday these chickenshits will actually just fight instead of endless stance dancing gg
(Edit: what i mean by that is players stance dancing, and not fighting on the 8wayrun player match server.. yeaaaa so cute.. and i think someone cares up there somewhere.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)

Edit: Dr Pepper: You annoyed me more than Caspian VII and his kind, and by so much more, he / she is like a saint, just keep running :U

I think my brain just exploded at the sentence. And I should be an engineer. (atleast soonish hahaha) :]

Anyway this is how I will sum it up.. there was no trying hard. There was no try. There was assing about and bitching. And the worst experience in soul cal 5 history. Should join the lobby now and kill everyone :b
