Most Esteemed One-Shot Contest Thread.

Yeah! I Won for once, even if it was a draw! XD Personally since I started with all the CAS stuff I realized that my creations are usually in a "dead spot", in that point where it isn't either brillant or mediocre. I mean, I think my creations are "correct" good enough to don't have flaws but at the same time aren't "special or brillant".

Anyway, here is my challenge. Commented it to Le Bello once for his thread, but we didn't it back on the day.


Neclord X Random challenge.

This are the instructions:

1.Go to edit mode and pick a male/female CAS with the weapon style you wish.
2.Go to equip>Random

THAT will be the core of your CAS

Now youll have to modify the character to make him awesome despite what you got.

For that you have to follow this rules:

-You are free to modify anything in "body" section (hair, face, sizes...)
On its behalf you can of course remove the equipment to see well the model to put stickers or scars as long as you put back the item you got on random.
-You can change the style and the weapon to whatever you wish
-You can change all the colors and use the stickers
In fact this will be your best weapon for this challenge.
-Three special items slots can be used freely
-You can fill any empty slot with any item as long as it doesn't remove one of the ramdomized items.
Example: You get a face item (mask) but you don't get a helmet. Then you can put your character a helmet as long as it doesn't obligues you to remove the mask.
-However the only thing you are forbidden is to "remove" objects
But you can cover/make invisible some objects by putting others. Example: Using a belt with some chest pieces makes part of the chest disappear. That's allowed.
-DLC are allowed
-Since it depends greatly on luck you can submit 2 CAS
The votes will be to the creator not the creations

OF COURSE there isn't a way of knowing what items you got, and there is no way of knowing if you followed this rules or not. But is not like we are betting money here. If you break the rules you are just fooling yourself.


I think this is pretty interesting, however if there is a masive rejection/lack of interest I'll have a secondary theme prepared. (Is not as fun as Random challenge though).

Let's say 1 week for submissions. To March 14th.

I always considered you in the top creators.... I remember your stuff from the early challenges... I specifically remember your famine... (I just looked her up ... I think you called her hunger) I felt like I copied it a few times.... :)
 
Aww, gutted this competition ends on March 14th - I won't have my PS3 until the 16th :/

I'll probably give the challenge a try just for fun afterwards, even though I wouldn't be entering, because this is a really awesome concept. Great challenge, Neclord!

TheHatter's Notes:
- Mask of an Ancient Tribe was chosen by random, so I had to incorporate it in somehow. Let's say he has a very deformed face that's hidden for a reason.
-Tried to show the culture of my country, Australia, in him.
- Wings are used as a flying contraption.
-Raccoon Tail was used as a beard.
-Color Scheme here is compromised of many warm earthy colors.

What better to match an Aboriginal Elder in search of his daughter than his daughter herself!? My random button has to results; many random clothes or barely any clothes at all. Here is an example of number 2.

TheHatter's Notes:
- Waggandi and Narigni's stories interlock with each others. Just a side note.
- Bikini with Pareo seems to look Australian enough here.
- Added paint to her chest.
- Jun's Sandals look good here. 'Nuff said.
- Chains are meant as if she was kidnapped and escaped, which leads into her roaming in search for her father.
- Face is meant to look innocent.

Thought this was great for doing an assassin. But ended doing this instead, since the moment I gave him a turbant it gave me the idea. You better don't see him without pants though, becase to make it look like arabina pants I gave him insane big musles. Naked looks like Popeye XD
