So I saw a room the other night called "NO CHEATING!!!" and joined it. Saw that the host had a mic, and prepped for awesomeness. I turned my mic on and said, "So I take it there's no ringouts, right?" He goes, "Well no, if you ring someone out by ACCIDENT, that's OK, just make sure you say you're sorry, or I'll think you did it on purpose. Obviously no intentional ringouts though." I'm like, "Yeah, I'm not a fucking asshole, I would NEVER do that." Guy goes, "One more thing, there is NO SWEARING in my room, I'm a Christian." I was like, "Oh, sorry, didn't mean to swear, I apologize. No spamming either, right?" He goes, "Dude, come on, of course there's no spamming." I go, "Okay."

So then it's my turn to play, and I just say something like, "One more question. Um, have you heard?" and proceed with the usual bird antics. He ragequit the universe after about 40 seconds.

I've actually seen those! One guy used to have a "2 grabs per round and I quit out" rule. So if you grabbed him more than once in a single round, he would exit the match, lmao. So what I would usually do (seeing as how retarded this rule is) I'd wait until I'm 2-0 over him, then purposely grab him twice in the 3rd round, to which he'd quit out!

Then I'd get booted shortly after, unless he was the host, then the whole lobby would get disbanded. The funniest part about it? The guy who said "No more than 1 grab per round or I quit!" grabbed me 3 times in a single round, I just laughed! I love these people with mental problems, they're awesome!
 
I had some friendly matches today -even though i lost them all against a better player =o.
When people have the mic symbols, does that really mean they have their mic on to talk? I see so many people with the speaker symbol but nobody ever speaks. They must be really shy or something.

It just means they have their mic plugged in.

Nah, you know what? Give him the first 2 rounds. Then grab him like 10000 times in a row and see how long before he gives up his lead. Kappa

The same guy who rage quitted against me after talking junk -_-: *points to past post*

One night I fought another guy who gives me crap after I loose a match that was close. Thinks he's good cause he mains Kilik with an 84% win percentage. Whatever.

Guy: Viola's don't interest me anymore. I'm bored of Viola's.
Me: You're ego's unbelievable you know that right?

Take note this isn't the first time he messaged me. He said something similar when he played my Pat. My Patroklos is crap btw. He's also a jerk to other players in GC.

After watching the fight replays I notice he's just an egotistical idiot who's throwing out random BE's and attacks. He hardly knows the matchup knowledge for Viola. (I can't believe I even fell for his bs)

I play him again that same night, he looses 3 to nothing. I have the biggest grin on my face.

He challenges me again tonight. I start winning the match and Mr. Ego quits.

Me: Really? And after all that trash talk? C'mon now.

And I never hear from him again. People online can be a trip lmao.
 
Silvomar...That guy cracks me up. Get this. Yesterday I saw him online with his normal "no Cheating" room and I made it my soul purpose to harass the living shit out of him. He kicks me every time I join his room and this has been going on for like a year. So i notice he has a mic on for a change so i get mine and join. He was already in a match so as soon as I join he starts saying, "Get the fuck out mule get the fuck out." So I just start telling the guy he's playing that Silvomar will kick you if you do anything thats takes life from his life bar. He gets pissed and disbands the room. So I wait till he makes another one and gets someone in it. Then I proceed to do the same thing. I do this about 5 times and finally i decide I want to seriously ask him what he considers cheating. I join his room and calm him down enough to let me ask what he considers cheating. I go "What do you consider cheating?" The he starts rambling and stuttering a bunch of hilarious nonsense. He says something along the lines of "Wh wh when people knock you down then then then kick you while you down or or hit you, that thats not fair. Or when someone knocks your clothes off (this one almost made me almost fall out of my chair laughing) or when someone beats you and and hits you in the butt over and over." It was at this point that I decided that this guy actually may be mentally handicapped and I left him alone. He also informed me that I was on his hit list so he will never play me since I dogged him a long time ago. I actually felt kind of bad after hearing him talk. He never says much before he kicks me most of the time.

I agree he'll probably wait until it's pretty obvious he won't win. When they are 2-0 up, nothing will stop them!

It's just one of those really cool fictitious rules people pretend others should follow for the sake of making their own lives easier.

If I have a problem with Dark Phoenix-- She should be banned!
If I have a problem with grabs-- They should be banned!
If I can't deal with Viola-- She should be banned!
Ohh... but I always beat up Aeon players.. Nope, nothing wrong with Aeon!

Either they are in party chat or their controller's messed up most likely.

Personally I'll have my mic on sometimes but I figure that if nobody else is talking, they're probably trying to pay attention to the match. So I won't bother them unless they start talking.

Some people online take it very seriously. There was this one time I was playing SC-4 on ranked and I hosted a rank match when a very high rank person joined. Of course, seeing his rank, I picked my best character which was Siegfried and we were duking it out in the match. Of course, as expected in my experience, the guy started trolling and taunting me in the match when he got a round won. I started to play my A game against him and managed to pull the victory by a bit. I went to rank and he came back furious clicking that toggle button to fight. Of course, I didn't give him the match anymore knowing he gonna either beat me or troll me even more. Instead, he came back with another account and me being unaware, we duked it out again - he would do this another time with a 3rd account. After my second loss to him (of three games), he started sending me messages about me being bad, getting life, this and that. After some exchanges, I just sent him a message and blocked him for good. I understand trolling is inevitable factor that you will run into with other players but some people are just crazy O_o. Thankfully, I have not run into people like that again, especially in SC5.
On the side note though, I like to use Hilde but can never seem to beat a Aeon player or Voldo with her since her vertical pokes are dodge-able with the right timing.
