Hi Chobek,

You have a great collection of superheroes CAS. I like your tarantula and venom the best :).

Btw, may I have the formula for the eyes of the guy in picture 19 and also tarantula's eyes?. Did you use the bunny ear or is it just some sort of stickers?.

The guy in picture 19 (Shocker ) uses the goggles for eyes (horizontal 0 , vertical-30 ,back 3, width -3, length-13, depth -21, r.v. 43, r.h. -4 angle 0 )
And Tarantula uses a sticker. The eyes are an inverted lotus ( motif42) the eyes are the leaves at the bottom of the flower.

...not sure... I am not super familiar with them.... But may give it a shot, I looked into anti-venom after your last post but Haven't had a chance to try it yet... I got caught up with the horror challenge :) so probably ... I will post it if I do .
 
killer croc- rhino - venom - and the daily bugle's boss are my faves - the whole bunch is fantastibulousome of course - so much time must have gone into this ... may i say i am impressed...plz ;o ?
 
Wow I had to look up my thread... it has been awhile...
I was inspired by the one shot contest to make Street fighter characters... mine don't really fit the contest ... because they are more straight recreations... But I had a blast making them and then fighting with them ... so the next few posts are just some images.

You gotta give Bison the Cervy style; to immitate his flying attack. (I'm pretty sure it was called "you cant ever beat SSF2" or something along those lines.

But the cast looks solid Cho; good job.

My vote also goes to gatsu's Ken. It's by far my favorite recreation, and just around general Cas i've seen in a while.

...yeah I agree with you on the style w/ Bison... I made Akuma for the contest... So he came first.... And I used Cervantes for him. It works ... However, when I started making other characters I didn't want to double up on styles and ran into some compromises. I think we might have to switch Bisons style to Cervantes in the end.... Even though I think the altered shield is a bit neat.

.... On the contest... Yeah Gatsu's Dudley is my fav. It was a cool theme, and I think his Dudley really fits the whole SC version of a Street Fighter character.
I tried to make SC versions at first, but I wound up just hating them. I think having to have SC versions of characters in SCIV ruined me... I have seen Gatsu, and Redmunhoz (especially his Batman) and Matty(especially his x-men) do really great Soul Calibur versions of existing characters... But, I never like my stuff if it strays too far from my source. My Akuma originally had Hakama and different hair .... And I just kept tweaking it until it came out 1 To 1. :)
After a point, I just gave in ... And did what made me happy.... So I admire those who stuck to the rules. :)
Gatsu's ken is quite cool... But then a lot of his really nail it.
 
Dat Shadaloo logo made with the shield + feathers of strenght is pure GENIUS :D
But yeah, Cervy's definitely SC Bison, dat geo da ray is basically a psycho crusher with swords, and overal both attitude (cross arms laugh ftw) and psycho powers(Cervy make flight his sword with mind) end up as pretty straight forward mandatory choice :D

These are pretty cool! I'm absolutely stumped on Dhalsim's head. Which stickers did you use to get the three stripes up top and two on each cheek? Also, what sticker did you use for Cammy's scar? It looks way better than mine. Finally, what stickers did you use for Chun's breasts? Sorry to bombard you with questions, but I'm really amazed by all these techniques you've found.

He is gone ... he became the Akuma you see here... but what I had in mind with him was this...

Akuma always seemed primal and powerful and mysterious ... and slightly animalistic. I stared thinking about what would have the same effect in the SC age of Japan.

So I was looking into the Ainu culture .... Maybe some sort of primal hunter demon character .... I wanted to switch up the spiritual symbols ...
Swapping things like the prayer beads and "Great demon " written on his back (which I have seen related to spiritual power and immortality) for bear cult concepts of life and death.I had this picture in the back of my head too ... and then there was the red hair... AND that's as far as I got.
