Next inspiration is a genderbend. Hilde as Ieyasu Tokugawa.

The next one was a quickie that I made. Mitsurugi as Nobunaga. Instead of copying and pasting like the last 4 customs, I went with this inspiration of Mitsurugi himself.

Mitsurugi makes a good badass Nobunaga who wears casual yet authentic stuff. Hope you like.

The last one was conveniently girly enough to pass as Oichi aka Nobunaga's little sister. Regardless, I sacrificed the bow on Leixia to copy something from orangeislands geishas. I will say it makes Leixia as Oichi even more cute. A somewhat old custom and personal favorite of the six besides the nobunaga mitsu.

Try to install the disc it might work. I thought girls took care of their stuff or do you have one of those early consoles applying nice circular scratches :(

That's exactly what happened? My cat jumped on my 360 & it disturbed the console & some how messed up my disk, but it's okay I got a new one today :D

Holy shit this is amazing, words can not even begin to describe! I had no idea that the samurai armor dlc was fit for women CaS as well or I would have gotten it D:

And you can, this is by far the most researched and exceptionally well executed asian CAS i have seen in a while (Rachel's being exquisite as well), and definitely the absolute best i have seen from you.
Some really stand out, some less, but...
I know how much time you put into it and how much you'd want others to like them as much as you do.

I guess I'll tell you what I thought of all 6 of them.

Oichi Leixia and Nobunaga Mitsurugi
The only 2 I felt were slapped on and didn't need much more was Oichi Leixia and Nobunaga Mitsurugi. Those two I didn't need to look up as much on what Nobunaga is perceived as and Oichi. Oddly Nobunaga is seen as some strong, cool, and rugged man. Hence the fur, hat, and simple yet rugged attire to enhance Mitsurugi than he already is.

Where as Oichi I don't know much except she's perceived as girly and perhaps a bit sheltered than Nobunaga. Add the fact she can be married well and I can imagine Leixia being in another dimension as a lady offered to be wedded like her mother Xianghua. Put them together and I can stereotype a tough older brother and a gentle sister. I could of used Pyrrha but she wields a sword and shield.

These are my personal favorites that I kept.


Yukimura Kilik and Masamune Maxi
These two I just looked at Sengoku Basara anime cover and like how they looked like bros fighting side by side. Maxi however came out a bit stronger than my Kilik though. Maxi was easy peasy because I thought his weapon and the iconic moon helmet part would help shape up a cosplay as Masamune. What also helped was how similar Masamune of the anime cover and how Maxi was perceived.

Kilik was probably more difficult than the rest of my Sengoku warriors. Not only did I have a hard time with him, I couldn't just put anything on him. In the end, I made do with what I could.

I deleted Kilik(despite how much I admire him) and kept Maxi Masamune since I do fancy Maxi as a cool dude.

Ieyasu Hilde and that CAS lady named Ouka as Ginchiyo
For Ieyasu, I immediately felt Hilde would fit him. Originally, I was gonna make Nohime(aka Nobunaga's wife) with her. However I couldn't get anywhere with her as that. Instead, I stuck with armor Hilde=success. And that's how Ieyasu fits Hilde. He wields a long range weapon. So does Hilde. He happens to have authority that's as great as Nobunaga. Hilde does as well to her kingdom. Genderbending at times can save time.

The CAS lady is kind of edging on winging it like Kilik, I wanted to make Okuni(the kabuki lass who made kabuki theater stuff popular) but then I realized I was exhausted and was beaten to the punch by orangeislands. So I found Ginchiyo then I found some alt outfit of Ginchiyo in some game and thought "Asuka Kazama in Sengoku times". Thus, it was somewhat easy to put a cute yet tough lass in some armor.

I deleted both of these ladies. However I might have to make Hilde again since I need another custom Hilde besides the Gatsu one. The other one I deleted and donated the custom to Natsu. I still kept the original CAS of the lady named Ouka though.

Conclusion
So there you have it. I researched but made sure to make something slightly unique out of them. Asian themed stuff especially set in Japan, tends to be my strongest suit since I'm always exposed to it.

@KokoYoshi: Your Oichi is stunning, and I can see alotta great ideas in her design. Still, I reeaally think she would look even better if you took off the pattern on the waist ribbon thingy and just made it solid blue. Sometimes the eye needs an oasis from all the intricacy.

If my college classes don't kill too much of my time, consider this fix on Leixia to be done. I knew there's something that needed to be fixed and I'm glad someone made sure to keep to my roots of simplicity with balance.

I'm not fixing anyone else except maybe Mitsu, that CAS lady, and Maxi. Hilde and Kilik I would fix but nah. I'll just recycle them for when the time comes and improve them. Although I see Hilde design as an idea to use for someone else.

Also pardon the offtopic post but Misfortune CAS comics are in the making. Think I could have the formulas for Atropos, Florence, and Shelby again? My old laptop is just about dead. Good to see you again brucege.

Takenaka Shigeharu (竹中 重治?, September 27, 1544 – July 6, 1579), who was also known as Hanbei (半兵衛), was a Japanese samurai during the Sengoku period of the 16th century. He initially served the Saitō clan of Mino province, but later plotted an uprising and took over the Saitō clan's castle at Mount Inaba. Toyotomi Hideyoshi was so impressed by this tactic that he invited Shigeharu to join his forces as a strategist. Shigeharu made many contributions to Hideyoshi with his exceptional talent in that field.

Kuroda Yoshitaka (黒田 孝高?, December 22, 1546 – April 19, 1604), other name Kuroda Kanbei (黒田 官兵衛), was a Japanese daimyo of the late Sengoku through early Edo periods. Renowned as a man of great ambition, he was a chief strategist under Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Yoshitaka succeeded to the family headship in 1567. A few years later, with Toyotomi Hideyoshi spearheading the Oda clan's advance into the Chugoku region, he pledged loyalty to the Oda. Yoshitaka, together with the sickly Takenaka Hanbei, served as Hideyoshi's strategists and assisted in the campaign against the Mōri clan.

I will vote for MeanBeard this time around. When I look at his CAS, they exude badass sengoku warriors. Authentic and to the point. I tip my hat.

orangeislands31 is a close second because of her asian persuasion batch of CAS. I particularly love her Oichi because it makes me want to make more ladies in kimonos.

Also if this gets me disqualified(which I won't mind since I'm happy my CAS got some recognition), here's some slight change to Oichi Leixia's sash. Also some pics of posing....

I thought it was funny on how awesomely mean beard outdid me on those characters... It's like he was saying "Look orange, this is how you make Takenaka Shigeharu & Kuroda Nagamasa!" ... X'D Kokoyoshi & meanbeard's sengoku CaS are quite stunning though to say the least :)
