SC2 Maxi is the worst of the lot so do not set your expectations high, or else you will be disappointed. SC2 Maxi was definitely the most fun out of the lot so far; however if all you want to do is win, then there is a specific way you'll need to play. Alternatively you can just pick X and play defensive, as there is no penalty system that awards offensive play vs punishing defensive play.
SC2 Maxi is also the most difficult to control (imo) in comparison to all of his other counter parts. PSL shifts are different, and the recovery from a multitude of moves which transition to stances is too long. tpsl4 & ipsl3 are glitches in the system, but the do not give Maxi any substantial advantage over the cast. They do give the player more mix-up potential but that's it. The player is either going to have to be able to read the opponent's every move, or revert to a very poke heavy oriented style. I'm curious to see what the younger lot will do once they go up against players who know how to totally shut Maxi down. Will they choose to adapt?, or will they run to a different/top tier character? (that's right you have been challenged).
