Nice work! I like your jedi knight version of Hristina. Try using the eye sticker to create that V-neck. Keep it up, man.

Name: Catherine Furukawa (1P/2P)
Age in Photo: 27
Weapon Trail: Azure blue
Preferred Theme Music: Venice Rooftops (Ezio)
Bio: The best friend of one of Hristina's victims named Raine. The end of a 8-year friendship leaves Catherine with a powerful drive to find the killer. She helped Hristina when they first meet, but regrets the choice once she learns about Hristina's identity [and how she eventually destroys the life she's known.]

This outfit was somewhat inspired from Naomi Misora from Death Note. I wanted to add a white shirt to it, but it seemed to stand out too much over the black jacket. I made it black, too, to avoid the problem (I would've like to have an option to close the jacket, Namco :p). She uses the bellbottom jeans colored blue and I used the boots to tuck them in.

One thing to take note is how the outfit is almost entirely "black and blue." This refers to the "black and blue" bruising on someone's skin when it receives trauma. The story behind this is her relationship with Hristina (like how Hristina damages her life beyond repair). Her 5P (and it's alternate form) will signify this.

Her 2P is a reference to her 1P from SCIV. I'd rather have the suit separated from the ultramini (to make it possible to add pants), but I could work with what's been given. One thing I love about this outfit are how the halos at her ankles were modified to be the end of her leggings. They also go well with the shoes and I also added a scarf and glasses to further the style. I know some people dislike the jacket because they only see it as a "stewardess uniform," but if you platy around with it, it makes a good modern suit. I also managed to make the ultramini a different color by using multiple square stickers.

Name: Lucienne Beauvilliers de Chartres (1P/2P)
Age in photo: Physically 21; chronologically over 600
Weapon Trail/ Favorite color: Floral lavender
Preferred Theme Music: Mischievous Whispers (Tira)
Bio: An unnatural French-born woman who knows everything about Hristina and appears where she travels. She also knows a lot about the world and believes in liberation and "freewill," although she dislikes the concept of morality.

Most of her outfits are meant to reflect on her aristocratic background. She used to have a small, top hat with this outfit, but I got rid of it, since it made her look too much of a lolita. I personally like how Ivy's 2P Valentine weapon compliments the outfit (purple with purple). She is a dark, mysterious, yet sophisticated character and all of her outfits were made to reflect this.

Here, I had the country tunic act as part of a full dress. The patterns are meant to bring them together, which happen to dominate this outfit. It's another one of the older costumes, too.

Name: Wang Mei Feng (1P/2P)
Age in photo: 28
Weapon Trail: French lime
Preferred Theme Music: Samsara: Wheel of Eternity (Kilik)
Bio: Catherine's roommate (and later colleague), who moves into Catherine's apartment after Raine's murder. She was unsure about the idea of Catherine going after a dangerous killer, but realizes she isn't going to change her mind. She looks out for Catherine and then decides to assist her. Mei Feng attempts to bring positiveness into, otherwise, dark atmospheres and likes to drink heavily before going to sleep.

The character likes the color green, so I made it the main color of her 1P. She's a feminine character, who look younger than she really is (which was why I set the boots with her black tights). The outfit is the second time I used the tunic, but I used different patterns, so it wouldn't look like Lucienne's 2P. I had the skirt look different by having it colored black with vine. It was actually during the time I made these snapshots that I changed it to match the top of the tunic. I think it looks better this way, almost to the point where it looks like a minidress.

This is meant to show the fancy, yet cool side of Mei Feng and as something that could be worn in the winter and fall. I wasn't a fan of being unable to change the white on the top, but I still tried to work something out with it. Somehow, brown and gold seemed to be the right choice in colors. My favorite feature is how I made the shorts suit the leggings and boots. I added the ponytail to this, since her pigtails didn't seem to match with it.

Your creations are simple but they still have character. I think you have improved in leaps and bounds since before! I also like how you aren't afraid of the physique toggles. It's refreshing to see creations that aren't all bikini models XD

An allround good taste for colors and clothing, a subtle touch of makeup, your CAS are like a gentle breeze on your cheek, nothing that will sweep you off your feet, but always pleasing to the eye and surely look great with in-game lighting...

I mean, what i maybe miss is something a bit wilder, more ExEq usage to give them a unique touch...more sticker work also...

...but your CAS have some whimsicality to them, and i sense the (your) sensibility behind them :)...

Name: Abigail Veneva (1P/2P)
Age in photo: 17
Weapon Trail/Favorite color: Pale pink
Preferred Theme Music: Regalia (Algol)
Bio: Hristina's teenage sister, who used to endure emotional/mental abuse from their mother. She disapproved of Hristina's behavior, but becomes accepting of it once Hristina's kills their mother. She also realizes she could rely on Hristina for protection.

The cowgirl skirt and the swimsuit was capable of forming a short dress, so I ended up with this. I was going for something emo-ish with her, which was why I added the spiked accessories and made it predominantly black. I also wanted her to be cute, but not along the lines of moe. I added pink to parts of the outfit (like the ribbons) and had her use Leixia's hair with flowers on her head to highlight her femininity (the character herself likes the color pink). She also has freckles, which I appreciate as an option. She used to have pink blushes with this appearance, but it seemed "too much" for her to have it. I saved it for her 3P instead. Since this is another dlc-heavy costume, she's going to look odd to players without the compatibility pack. VERY odd.

This character is a fan of the rock genre, so I made something to reference her interest. I came up with the skull with wings graphic for that, which is actually 3 stickers with the hidden black circle behind the skull. The Master seemed to have the right color to match the shirt, so I used it as the weapon of choice. She used to have the engineer's boots with this outfit, but I changed it to the cowgirl boots, since it seemed like I was overusing them.

Yeah, I get the vibe you're trying to carry across with these guys and I like it :) To your credit, they're all quite chic and modern! I wish I had some of the clothes in their wardrobe XD
Man, 'dem legs... :D

Name: Gracia "Grace" Mendoza (1P/2P)
Age in photo: 32
Weapon trail: Golden yellow
Preferred Theme Music: Sleepless: An Untamed Beast (Z.W.E.I.)
Bio: A singer/dancer who survived an attack by Hristina. She initially joins Catherine's group, but then associates herself with Hristina and Lucienne.

Grace 1P Collage (A).png
Grace 1P Collage (B).png

This is the new Grace Mendoza. In addition with the new face, darker skin tone, glasses, she uses Cervantes' fighting style instead of Sophitia's. This outfit coincides with her theme from SCIV, but it felt limiting, while I made it. I had to keep the colors of the coat and trimmings the same to get rid of the stupid hearts. This outfit also conflicted with a lot of other pieces, so there wasn't too much I could do with it. It looked too plain, so I added something on the back, which I don't think turned out as good as I hoped. I might do something to it later.

Grace 2P Collage (A).png

Since she uses guns, I wanted to give her a leathery outfit to go with it. Cool and sexy is the theme of this outfit. Here, I got rid of the lines on the top to make it match the pants.

Name: Ubasti (1P/2P)
Age in photo: 21
Weapon Trail: Magenta
Preferred Theme Music: Master of Edges (Edge Master)
Bio: A young woman who developed a "cat persona" and is Yasuo's girlfriend. She catches wind of Hristina's murders and has been following them, which leads her to Catherine's taskforce. Catherine notices that Ubasti shares characteristics like Hristina and that "Ubasti" isn't even her real name.

Ubasti 1P Collage (A).png
Ubasti 1P Collage (B).png

The 1P is supposed to make her look somewhat normal. I have mixed feelings about it though; I used this shirt to reduce reusing certain items. It's ironic for me to say that, considering that I already used the country tunic two times already, but back then they formed dresses with different lengths. Here, it's just a shirt. I like it, but I think it could be better somehow.

Ubasti 2P Collage (A).png
Ubasti 2P Collage (B).png

Well, isn't this a big difference between the 1P and 2P? lol Like I said earlier, Ubasti doesn't rely on modern clothing. Rather, she's designed as an Amazonian Catgirl. I know that the pieces here didn't change to drastically, but something about them seemed to fit with her. I don't know if it's her hair or skin color, but making the fur parts brown and keeping other parts red seemed to suit her. I still did a few changes, such as making the top "dirty" using the tiger pattern and putting a lion symbol on it.

The idea behind this character is that without a certain artifact, in this case SoulCalibur, she'll assume her Catgirl/Amazon persona. Without it, she's normal. She has a mystic symbol on her spine to highlight her changing powers. Something else about this character is that she has cat ears, a tail, and will meow anytime she fights (because of the cat chain). This is only in her 2P, 3P, 4P, and 5Ps.

That's all the 1P s and 2Ps I've made for these characters (14 posted here already). I have the 3-5Ps and their bonus costumes left. Before Yasuo's deletion, I was still able to take snapshots of his costumes (although their quality is lower than what you see here). I could possibly show those at a later time, but for now I'm just going to post the rest of the outfits of the current 7.

Grace is actually a very beautiful woman ^^ So, judging by these and your current avatar, I think it's safe to conclude that you like 'em chunky XD

This outfit is essentially the same as before. It's meant to highlight the "toughness" of the character and that she's ready to wreak shit up (look at those muscles!).

This was the best use I found for Pyrrha's boots. I used the tiger pattern for this outfit, but I made it brown to create the dirty, rugged effect. It makes them look like they've been through wear-and-tear. If anything, the 3P and 4Ps highlight that she's far from being a feminine woman. Something I can't get enough of with these outfits (in all of her outfits) is how she attaches the sheath onto the belts she wears before a fight starts. That's awesome.

Catherine's 3P/4P

I was somewhat picky with this one. She originally had pants with this outfit, but it didn't seem interesting enough. I didn't want to just give her the same pants/boots combo like in her 1P, either. The tennis shorts would have worked, but I didn't want to just put together a dlc set and leave it at that. The hot pants seemed workable, I went along with them, although it shows off her legs (which isn't a bad thing). I added a gun, neck chain, and chain to her thigh to get more out of it and the shoes matched. One interesting fact about this outfit is that it used all available creation slots, except the covering top.

This outfit displays her like for birds. I made the pants black by inverting colors, making the pants black. The white birds on them seemed to go with the white dove sticker, which gave me the idea of putting them together. For the top, I created the circular design with the bird graphic on the back, along with the flowers and the dove in the front. This was also meant to be her "get ready" outfit, which is why I added the head band and gloves.

Lucienne's 3P/4P

I felt like adding something that has a queen-like vibe. I made the illusion that it's a whole dress using the stomach wrap adding a pattern to it. Even if the top is destroyed during battle, it doesn't hurt the outfit too much. Unfortunately, this outfit also highlights one of the flaws with the Creation mode: Whenever you set a pattern on an item, the tint of the original color stays with the pattern's color. In this case, the skirt was originally cyan and adding a black pattern gave it the black a greenish tint.

This outfit makes me love the dlc more than I already do lol. I wasn't sure about using the lady hat again since I already used it in her 2P, I think it felt right (it looks different). There is more dark blue than black with this outfit. The claw doesn't look half-bad with it (although I would've appreciated having the option to add or remove it).

Mei Feng also has a police outfit, showing her collaboration with Catherine. I added the pants and a few patterns to make it differ from the default look of the Asuka outfit. Both the blue in this outfit and the blue of Catherine's 3P are the same shade of blue to show a connection between them. The top seem to match the pants, which looks cool.

This is Mei Feng's traditional Chinese dress (she is a Chinese character as the name implies). I was unsure about creating this, because I'm not a fan of the plain-looking items. I didn't want to keep reusing certain designs, patterns and a lot of stickers didn't make the outfit look satisfying. So I took a different route and put two stickers together to make their own shape. The makeup and hair pins were added to give a nice touch to the oriental theme.

Well, I am not a very good critic, but here we go.

Modern designs aren't bad, but they actually hold you back when you try to take the step for the next level, unless you are trying to fusion both classic and modern.

What you have here while is not bad, it narrows your choices in the costume and the pieces as well, maybe you could try something like a interpretation of those in Soul Calibur time.

Anyway, good luck my friends, I am sure you will keep improving, also Mei Fang 2P is very well thought, I find it to be pretty good.

Now that you mention it, I did find myself running into some restrictions when making certain designs. As I mentioned earlier, adding too much seemed to convolute their designs (adding stickers and patterns to Abigail's 1P seemed to ruin it, so I kept it black). But it wasn't necessarily because they were modern; I also wanted each outfit to be drastically different, while staying modern.

With the exception of the extra 6Ps, I sought to make sure that none of the clothing look similar. This even meant using certain items once and anything that has been reused has been done so in limited amounts. For instance, the coat in Catherine's 1P was never used on anything else; no other characters use it and it's only one of her outfit where she uses it. I've found myself looking towards coherency a lot (if it looks good, I just add tweaks).
