I actually completely forgot about 1A. Is it this game that it does 40 million points of damage, or is it SC3?

Edit: It must be SC3 that I remember it doing way more damage then it should. It does 24 in this vs. 3A's 30. 1A is completely safe though. Man. It's so weird coming back to this game. It seems like it's a lot faster then I remember it being. I honestly thought 1A was hella slower then 3A, but it's only a frame difference.

1A was godly in the original SC1.

If this SC2 is still based on SC2's console version, that Xianghua's strongest (and really stupid) move is WS A+BAA, a completely natural combo from the first low hit.

Other goodies from Xianghua are waterfall (66B+K IIRC) guard cancel, 22B (tracks, and safe), and pretty much every variation of Swallow's Dance for shenanigans (AA2_BA, 33KA, etc).

For really safe and easy combos, FC3B or 22B, 1B, WSK or FC3B. Both launchers are safe and are great punishment. Or one of the above launchers and 33KA.

3AK combos on CH. Has a guard cancel which makes it semi-safe if you can't get the CH.

Xianghua doesn't get too many benefits from G2 (assuming its still in) compared to Nightmare and Kilik.

33B is also really good, bit risky, though.

SCIIHDO is based on the PS2 PAL Version. 1A is +6 on hit & -7 on GRD.

I thought WS A+B was always a 32 DMG NC. WS A+BA & WS A+BB are NCCs. Speaking of NCs, I love that aKB is a NC at a certain distance, 1kAAB, & 11_77kAAB (2nd Hit Only of Both Versions are NCs at a certain distance).

6B+K is amazing it has great range, safe, cancelable, & SCC, 22_88B is her best launcher getting 76 DMG of a successful sidestep, Beu Her Hua stance transisions AA 2_8, 6B+K2_8, 66KB2_8, 33_99KA ~ B+K, & 11_22_33_77_88_99B+K(BHH is always garbage in every SC game).

A Basic Xianghua Guide
Character Overview

Xianghua is a very fast character with quick pokes, great mix up potential, & solid evasion. She has to rely on CH Fishing with quick pokes like CH AAB & CH 6BA to beat out your opponent's slower attacks. Mix-ups from 1B after launchers like 3B, FC 3B, & 22_88B for 50/50 or combos like any main launcher ~ 1BA (Slight Delay) & any main launcher ~ 1B ~ WS K (Except on Talim for 3B Combos). Evasion with 22_88B for combos & mix-ups & 11_44_77B for a great back step evade. Step Killing with CH AAB, 66A, 33_99A, 44A, & 11_22_33_44_77_88_99A+B.

Main Moves

AAB - This is Xianghua's fastest move in her arsenal that does decent damage on NH. On CH, AA is hit confirmable into the B part of the string to do great damage. This is her best close range step killer.

3AK - This is X's best low that's real quick with +3 frame advantage on hit and puts her in FC. On CH, 3A is hit confirmable into the K part of the string to combo into 3B for excellent damage.

1A - This is another great low that Xianghua has that is +6 on hit, puts her in FC, & is safe on block.

BB - A standard BB that all characters have.

6B - Another safe close range poke that +6 on hit. On CH, 6B is hit confirmable into the A part of the string for good damage.

1B/A+B - 1B is excellent after Xianghua main launchers for serious damage & mix-ups. 1B has 2 enders = 1 low & 1 mid. 1B looks like the 1st hit of A+B. A+B is the only launcher that launches on CH.

3B - A standard semi-safe launcher that launches opponents into the air for combos and hits them on the ground.

FC 3B/FC 3bB - This launcher is safer & launches higher than her standard 3B launcher. This is really good for punishing really unsafe lows & duck punish High High or Mid High strings. You can cancel FC 3B with FC 3bB for a strong low poke that can combo in iFC 3B.

22_88B - Xianghua's strongest & best launcher. It's an excellent sidestep launcher that the 1B KND that can combo into FC 3B for huge damage.

1K_11_77K/1kAA_11_77kAA/aK - 1K is another good low that Xianghua has that is +5 on hit. It can KND on CH. Even better X can cancel 1K to 1kA turning the low into a mid. If the mid hits the 1st 3 hits are NC and Xianghua is at +6 on hit. Sadly the whole series isn't a NC or NCC, but the 2nd hit of 1kAA_11_77kAA can combo with the B ender part of the string at a certain distance making it a NC. The same thing can be done with aK which is the 2nd & 3rd hits of 1kAA_11_77kAA respectively. Only the 3rd hit of 1kAA_11_77kAA can STN on CH so both the low & mid enders can combo. It's also true with the 2nd hit of aK on CH.

WS K - A solid move that punishes really unsafe lows and can combo after a 1B KND from any of her main launchers. Near the wall, when holding the K, Xianghua will run up the wall and attack with an overhead kick.

kBB_kB8B_22_88KB_22_88K8B_JMP KB_JMP K8B - An excellent jump attack for avoiding low attacks. It puts the opponent in FrC if they block it and if they attack right away, Xianghua has the B_8B that is her 22_88B to launch the opponent on CH for combos & mix-ups. 7K near the wall is like WS [K] near the wall.

6B+K - An amazing move that has great range, safe, cancelable, & SCC.

2B+K - A guard break when blocked leaving Xianghua at +15 where 66K is guaranteed. It can hit low for a tremor that is +26 so 22_88B is guaranteed. Also, it grants full damaging combos

66A - A really quick safe step killing High.

33_99A - A really quick safe step killing Mid.

66KB - A solid safe kick that hits opponents on the ground and can frame trap into self on hit. The B in 66KB like X's 6B+K & cancels.

66A+B - An excellent move that TCs Highs & evades Vertical Attacks to Xianghua's left to do great damage.
11_22_33_44_77_88_99A+B - A really quick safe step killing High that stuns on CH.
 
This forum needs a mod since I already have two other soul arenas to mod. I'll go see what lobo says, anyone want to offer for the position?
