How else can you rationalize this? Its probably another bad move but it just feels more likely to me. They're trying to put an emphasis on this wackiness because they think it revitalized SC (which it did double the opposite)... if this stupid idea started with SC5 why wouldn't they exploit it?

They did add a practice mode to Tekken Revolution after enough people asked for it. Granted, a practice mode would be a lot easier for them to add than online, but maybe it's something they can add if enough people start asking for it. Cue the twitter and facebook spam!

I think it would fun enough just to mess around with and not take seriously. And it couldn't be any worse than SC4 which unfortunately had practically unplayable netcode.

True. The stun system does seem interesting as it is similar to DOA. You could probably mess around and make cool combos and it'd probably bring in a larger audience since it's mashable and free. Multiplayer/online wouldn't hurt it and I do want to be able to 2B+K other people again. :sc4amy: Whatever they decide to do I hope people milk the life out of this cash cow to fund SCVI.

As long as they don't half-ass SCVI like these "cash cows", I'll agree with that wholeheartedly. Looking at you, bad netcode and ridiculous strings.

SC5 just had legitimate combos that you can't shake out of. LS has ridiculous looking strings with an elemental rock, paper, scissors feature. Not to mention they've reinstated outfit stats.

This is a spin-off cashgrab game, that's how I'm rationalizing this.

(Sophie's stab follow up is automatic for god's sake).

Yeah, its getting harder to justify, even optimystically. I have no idea what they're trying to do with this - unless they arent trying to make it competitive at all.
 
This game, I feel, is made just to bring in more new players with really easy mechanics which, I pray to God, they will change if they make a new SCVI. As a side note, why not download it? I don't even play Tekken but I downloaded Tekken Revoltuion. Just wish that it was on the ps4 but oh well.
 
All this time I was saving money to buy a new and better TV, today I got finally my chance, I was happy but I decided to wait more.

The reason? Simple: Soul Calibur Lost Swords

If I buy a TV now and the game is out in February, I may have trouble in buying a PS3 (that´s why I was wishing it to be released in April or later, or March at least).

I really wanted the TV, but I love SC and the Alexandra girls much more, I would give it all to be with them, so this is my choice, we will see what happens in the future.

The good part is that, no matter what, I´ll play one way or another this game, especially if Cassandra is in it.

I just wanted to share this with you guys, being fan of SC can be tought for me, but is worth it =)

I bought a 3DS for the sole reason to play Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D back when it was released, so I wouldn't call this crazy. Just do your best to find a cheap deal on a PS3.

I'm excited to the new features put in the fighting style in this game. I like to see things mixed up a bit. I'm sure for SCVI they'll go back to a more conventional formula, they just wanted to have some fun with LS.
 
i think they are just waiting for everyone to lose interest for some reason because that's what is happening so far. i don't even care for the game anymore at this point. it really seems they don't care too much for the fans to leave us in the fog this long and not even give us so much as an exact release date about a year later. and to make it worse they are already screwing over the xbox owners as well.
 
Hopefully we'll get another trio of character trailers soon.. preferably sometime in the next few weeks. Even some information on changes they've made since the beta would be nice. I just want to know who else is going to be in this game which could possibly hint towards who Hoshino wants to be in SCVI or Unbreakable Souls. I've already accepted the previous character list as fact, but I'd just like confirmation.
 
So... I should take the likes as a "yes", right? xD

I also think we may have 3 new characters release trailers in this month, but hopefully also a release date (for Xbox 360 too xO )

Isn't that bad practice? What if they lose potential sales, downloads, or dlc purchases over it?
