My friend told me about this word the other day and I had never heard of it before. lol. Do they really think white people are offended by such a retarded word?

All racial slurs are reatarded, they are only offensive to people who they actually describe.

Most white people see that word as a good thing. It's back from the Elvis days. Not really that negative.

Time period wise there should be a black character. He should be raphaels slave because time period wise that would be the only type of black person in europe

His name could be django freeman and one of his weapons could be a water melon and his 2p could be the coolaid mascot you see in the tv ads with the win quote "ohhhhhhh yeahhhhhhh"

You know what is racism? The first Brazilian in games being green.

Yeah, Street Fighter does a poor job with tons of cultures. Rufus, the obese white dude. Feilong, the 9 billionth Bruce Lee clone. Zangief, the cartoonish Russian bear wrestler. T-Hawk............. The list goes on. In the grand scheme of things, Blanka isn't even that offensive lol.

P.S. And just so Ichi doesn't get mad at me. The portrayal of Dee-jay is also horrible. Not including black people is beyond offensive. And I now realize this.

there were free black nights you cunt

and once again like most ppl afraid of the conversation of race you all respond in awkward and stupid jokes. grow the fuck up

"Yeah, Street Fighter does a poor job with tons of cultures" Alex J.[/quote]

yeah but white ppl (in the american sense) also have Guile and Ken,cody, and rolento, alex, a diverse group within themselves. bruce lee clones are more of a homage, and t hawk is not that offensive in the context of native american representation
but Russians do get it the worst
black ppl (in the american sense) have elena(which is cool) and maybe sean but they just had to add a basketball.

when i say in the american sense i mean how americans view black and white. sadly there is not much of hes russian or german rather hes white or hes afro brazillian and hes nigerian its just hes black.
which should make it easier to please a large demographic of blacks at least in america. JUST BRING ZAS BACK
and Talim

You haven't answered why they have to appeal to you though. You could be off playing something else, or making your own game.

BUT WORK IS HARD, I'D RATHER COMPLAIN ON THE INTERNET.

COON, COON ...
Black Baboon ...
Brutal, worthless
thieving GOON...
Often High, Thrives in Jail
His welfare check
is in the mail ...
Some 40 offspring have been had,
Not one will ever
call him dad ...
And yet he hollers day and night:
"i blames de white man
fo my plight,
it's him spreads trash
all round my shack...
it's him what makes me
smoke dis crack,
he push my kind
to burn and loot,
an sends de po-lice
dat we shoot ...
but inch by inch we takin' hold
like when the white bread starts to mold...
i'll overrun
yo home and soon...
DEY BE ONLY FIT FO DE BLACKASSED COON"

You mean black "knights"? Seriously, learn to spell dude. There were knights who had black armor. But a knight who was actually of African origin? Remember, knights were a class of lower nobility. Royalty in Europe at the time and black people didn't really mix. Also I took a quick look online and couldn't find anything. The only thing I found was that movie by Martin Lawrence. For the love of god don't tell me you think that movie is true....

Also I did a little more research and dug up this stuff. There is evidence pointing to the direction that there could of been black knights in Europe. Nothing completely conclusive, but evidence is there. But don't go saying black people invented the wheel next or some shit. Since I highly doubt you knew any of this and were just talking out of your ass.

But would this really fix the problem? How about that 1 Persian person who wants a Persian character to identify with. He essentially has the same exact complaint you do. But since it has to do with Persians instead of blacks, it doesn't matter? All he is asking for is 1 Persian character to identify with. Is that so much to ask for?

You got some inferiority complex issues in regards to losing both Talim and Zas(mainly him due to skin color).

I might as well be offended and jealous since I lost the only 2 characters that are Black(There was no Jamaican) and Filipino respectively. Thus I should be hating on Caucasians and Asians person that get plenty of inaccurate yet diverse characters to relate to their skin color.

Oddly I'm not since I can relate to Yoshimitsu who in no matters is black. But I guess I'm shallow going for personality, right?

You can relate to a character who isn't black because of his personality? Funny enough, since Ichi wanted to drop MLK's name. I'm sure that's the kind of thinking MLK wanted. There needs to be acceptance with equality. He wanted people to be able to relate and communicate with other races. You can only relate with black characters? Seems a little shallow. Ichi still drawing lines and race barriers. Even to the extent of calling people Nazi's and KKK members. True equality isn't forcing black people into everything. 1 black person in Calibur and suddenly it's an acceptable and equal game? Doesn't really work that way. Here is an excerpt from MLK's famous speech.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.' I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood. I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

His speech wasn't about retaliation or aggression. It was more about acceptance and understanding. You could learn a lot from him Ichi. Your self serving ideology in here is way more flawed than you can ever realize.

Please elaborate this point, I'm rather interested to hear your insight on this. Why does American views on black people differ from other countries?
The USA's history of slavery is more recent than those of many European countries. Plus our immigration policies are far different from those of places like Sweden and Britbongistan.
