Yes i noticed, i got like 100 likes (which makes it 101) from you in my alert box, nice to see such dedication and thanks a lot for the compliment, which i understand as : my stuff isn't crap :)

Oh i didn't even think about the alerts, i'm sorry about flooding your inbox n,n;
And there's even posts i missed putting likes on, but i like all of your stuff :3

You must be, you kept running from our fights :P

I could post rather embarrassing replays i uploaded from our fights, but my french education keeps me from doing it...
:P

You are still my favourite adversary, just because you are so brutally honest with me :)

It's why I get any respect at all <3 Shame you moved onto the ONE, silly Villy.

But i still have my xbox ready to go (just unplugged and offline for now), we can still play sometimes mon ami...that is, if Dark Souls 2 doesn't eat yours...how is it compared to the two other episodes i played through and through btw ? still insanely hardcore ?

It's weird, in some parts it's easier, but then it throws a real curveball. Overall still pretty hardcore yeah :D

Boss fights are simpler and easier. You can literally run circles around most of the bosses. However, since critical hits are nerfed, fighting three plain old skeletons at once is about as hard as Smough and Ornstein everytime. Cuz of this, I'd have to say DS2 is harder.

Strange design choice, for me, bosses in DS games have always been terrifying but fair (many of them could be outwitted)...still grunts were intimidating when hunting in packs (they had this ability to corner you).
But this ?!?

Theif was a great class though, I mean it was worse than Wanderer for DEX but still workable. Come back when Deprive mon ami :P Or do a Whip Run. UUUUUUUUGH.

Fair cop, so far I struggled a bit with the second boss, but the first and third was easy as pie, whatever that really means. I agree though, some of the standard enemy encounters are more tricky - Especially when there're ranged enemies... BUT the environments seem better set up to let you deal with things, so there's something?

All in all it's about how you address things I guess. It's still a thoroughly rewarding game either way though :)

Before this thread turns into a hardcore discussion, let me share the drawing i did for a "tomb raider in a daily routine" competition (still pending results)
The text and puns are in french, but you'll get the idea (she is so dirty and bruised all the time she must be a kick-ass cleaning lady IRL, right :P)
In case you wonder, "tomb laideur" means "tomb ugly"
