Would be nice but I can almost see why SF3 didn't get any characters in, considering the SF3 series was nowhere near as popular as SF2. Look at the approach they took, getting rid of almost all the old favorites and replacing them with a bunch of newcomers. Sure they kept in Ken, Ryu and Akuma but I think they almost had to. This might be why SF4 might do better than SF3, as they kept in most of the old favorites but also added some new people as well.

I am probably just talking nonsense...^^...take it with a grain of salt.
 
I haven't seen one person use Rufus since I started playing the game in August. I have seen all the other characters used except him. Abel got more play than he did. And Capcom taking out alot of favorites plus making SF3 hard to get into was why alot of people stayed away from it. So SF4 will do way better because most of everyone's favorites are in the game plus the gameplay has been simplified.

So anyone hyped yet? The game will be out before you know it.
 
Anyone know a good "8wayrun equivalent" site for this game? You know, just a good place to discuss news, info, strategies, basics and such??

At Denjin, the most common characters were, in no particular order:
Sagat
Boxer
Rufus
Ryu
Blanka
Honda
Abel

Rufus is a VERY good character.
 
Man, I think I want to learn Chunners just for her alternate costume. I think she stole Mai's wardrobe, which explains her mysterious absence from KOF XII.

edit: Oh shite! They brought back Cammy's Alpha costume =D
 
Cammy's alternate is pretty hawt, even though it's a modified version of her Shadoloo outfit and I'm kinda tired of seeing Killer Bee Cammy.

Anyone know if we can change the Double K.O. rules? I've been on both sides and firmly believe double k.o. should register as both players lost that round, not both won.

They don't say whether or not it'll be held on the SF pads or not, I guess. Still I probably won't even bother asking off work for this, I can barely block on a pad, let alone do moves.

anyway I'm just glad Sakura,Cammy,Rose and Chun Li are in...I'll try out C Viper too she looks fun
 
i wish i had time to enter :( I'd jsut drive to capitola and play but I've never played the game yet either, though If I go down to UC Davis for my bro's b-day I might take a shot at the arcade there. Winning that arcade system would be sweet. Loved playing my friend's SF2 special edition arcade. Just feels so much better than playing on a tv screen.
