I hope they announce it at E3. Imagine they open up with a slow-building cinematic, starting with a dark screen with the words "Welcome to the stage of history" and "The warrior's soul shall ignite again". Then it begins with a beautiful in-engine cutscene of various characters fighting each other, which include favorites like Sophitia, Cassandra, Talim, and Taki, as well as old mainstays like Nightmare, Ivy, Mitsurugi, Voldo, and Siegfried (Pyrrha may also be in there too, being an Alexandra girl). We see various stages, which all look stunning. The trailer ends with Nightmare and Siegfried clashing swords, then the announcer proudly yells "Soulcalibur VI!". Then it fades to black, closing with the message "Coming 2017".

The end of the legend and it will die. At this point, I will really be impressed by PS IF they make it to SC7. THAT to ME will prove their longevity.
 
Might've been said before idk but does anyone else think the next game would focus on Soul Calibur and not Soul Edge? The end of SCV didn't really give any indication to a new Nightmare and it kind of dipped into the idea that Soul Calibur might be evil too?
 
There will always be a Nightmare, they can't cut him out because he's too beloved and iconic. So much so that he appears on Project Soul's logo.
