Dude, stop arguing over the replacements. The fans have already spoken, Talim and Taki are Soulcalibur's two most popular characters. Where's your argument in the face of cold hard facts?

You know how I love Leixia, but Lost Swords is still terrible with it super simplified gameplay that destroys SC. Make A+B a special attack & remove While Standing moves. WHAT? The only going thing I like about Leixia in LS was 6A finally stuns on CH, CH 3A+B has an improved stun perfect for 33_99BB combos, 11_77AA is actually a good string, 33_66_99AA has an improved stun, 3B+K possible being a BE with the K followup becoming a bound stun. Leixia 3B+KK was already amazing for excellent guard damage and setting up for my counter attack making their efforts useless. The same thing goes for 44K block traps.

this...and while I can understand you'd like some the changes made to her...it's ultimately useless at the end...because you really don't have anyone to use it on

Yeah, because LS is garbage and is no longer online. It going to be in SCVI for sure just like Siegfried new ag:A knockback animation. I think Siegfrien in SCVI will be top-tier because of bound stuns.

Talim has been low tier for a long time but besides her most of the originals were considered high tier. Especially Xianghua.

Yeah, what makes Talim so special. All the characters that were replaced were all solid characters. The only time Taki wasn't good was in SCIV.
Do you mean moveset wise? Yes, the replacement characters had improvements for existing styles. People prefer the originals with the improved moveset of viable moves that their replacements got.
