Except it's on NeoGAF. That website is already extremely hard to get into, and posting fake leaks will get you banned. If it's fake, the story doesn't add up. Why would someone go through all the time, money, and effort to get on NeoGAF just to post a fake leak on a specific part of a website (not even the general game discussion but rather the Sony discussion even though it's not exclusive) to say "SCVI is getting published", only to troll a small number of people, leading to their permanent ban from the website? Getting on there is such a pain in the ass in general that it isn't worth it for most people.
There already were a lot of "leaks" that stated something simple like "SC6 is coming soon boys", as for everything else you said - nothing would stop a dedicated troll, especially on such a trusted site.
Trust me, it takes more than dedication to do that on NeoGAF. To give you an example of how hard it is to get on there, it's consider fast if you can be approved after "only" six months. That's after you sign up using a paid email account, because they don't accept free emails like Gmail or Yahoo. That's simply too much time and effort for a troll to go through, only to get permabanned afterwards.
This is the first tweet by them in nine months. Could that be some sort of sign?
Ok', after reading that I agree with credibility of this leak, this is too much of bullshit to go through to just troll such a small and half-dead fanbase as SC-fans, that have been (most probably unintentionally) trolled by developers themselves on 20th anniversary.
That's debatable. Even some of the most tenacious (and retarded) of trolls will sink that low and go through plenty of trouble, just to receive attention and stir up a potential Soul Calibur Apocalypse. And honestly, there are usually assholes no matter where you go.
I guess but this just doesn't come off to me as a troll post. Most of the time, I can tell them pretty easily and this doesn't look like it. He's just as happy as we are based on the way he wrote it, and even he said to take it with a grain of salt just to avoid mistaken assumptions.

There is no need to make separate board for SCVI, there is already barely any activity in SCV threads, they won't "compete" with new ones.
