I wouldn't doubt it.
I know people didn't like Natsu, but being a poorly/not developed character at all who's a Naruto reference replacing one of the icons of the series in Taki can't go well. I'm really very curious how they will handle Natsu if they bring her back, because I could easily see them "rebooting" the character by giving her a different story of some kind, weapon/moveset, and probably even personality.
It really doesn't need to be emphasized how bad her original character was, as I am strongly one to say that everything that made her character stand out was exactly the worst aspects of her entirely. If they reboot her character, then they should really just dump all of that and write her more alike their prior characters. Setsuka was a preferable addition in SCIII compatibly for being the exact opposite direction they took with Natsu in her inception. No modern slang, no americanized valley personality, no obnoxious immaturity. Even those things clash with her own concept being a 16th century Japanese ninja. Seriously.

I'll cry from happiness if PS will remake this stage

That actually makes me wonder what kind of new themes we'll see in SCVI. I hope they're as good as the past ones, because one of my favorite things about SC is that the soundtrack isn't an afterthought but something they've clearly put a lot of time and effort into, unlike many games that settle on some generic electronic beat.

yea i dont see that tbh. Sc5 looked just amazing to me concerning animations and outfits.
Also wouldnt say its too cartoon like, the overall artstyle didnt really change much.

The only change between SCV and SCIV was the lighting, really. IV was the shiny one though, and they had actual facial animations in V.

@Vergeben are you able to share who is all working on the game? Like the Producer and Director?

Well, if you actually wanted to risk just guarding a likely high damaging attack that you couldn't block otherwise, you deserve to be rewarded for that perfectly executed guard. Besides, why would you use that? I'm no specialist, but its easier to dodge or punish the slow startup of the unblockables. GI is just easy to do, also, mind games? You'll end up wasting meter you could use for combos, and its fairly easy to identify who has more meter, so its not really a good mind game.
JG was hardly difficult, even online. I hope that shit never returns.
At least GI has risk, and allows for a response from the opponent, meterless or not. JG is free damage for barely any risk at all.

Looks like that Marcus Sellars guy poted something on Twitter, and from the answers I get that he posted 6 fish, 6 sole... So people are going crazy about "Soul 6"...

They just need to adjust it so you can benefit from it that much. The overall justguard animation needs to be longer.(after successfully hitting it)

cant complain about that either. Artwork always looks better and aside from a couple characters like zwei or pat its was pretty good.

In theory yes. But it still happens at times that people mistime it and get hit expecting a specific move. Even with the option of blocking immediately after it

I'd like to believe we'll get a full roster reveal in December but we'll likely have to wait ages. I at least hope that if they announce it via trailer then we get to see some of the old classics, that should be enough of a reveal.

I hope they work on the models though. SCV's looked way too barbie doll-like, more so than SCIV's (especially Sophitia who doesn't even look her age anymore). Way too much gloss, lacking skin texture, huge eyes, and the awkward movements in cut-scenes and the general exaggerated facial expressions also looked a bit cartoony as well. I remember when back in SCII & III everyone looked like their artwork, now their artwork looks better than their actual in-game models.

SC2 vs SC4 sophitia

I didn't scale them exactly, but you can compare the 2.

Compare the position/size of eyes, the size of the jaw, the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose..

I think you are exaggerating the barbie-doll look. If anything, SC4's in-game model looks closer to Takuji Kawano official artwork compared to SC2's in-game models in terms of facial proportions.

The resolution of the game models back in SC2/3 were so low that I find it hard for anyone to substantiate the in-game model's accuracy to the official game artwork.

If you are in any contact with PS please remind them to go back to their character-concept roots. Remember Setsuka. Remember drawing from real history. Not anime.
Oh I agree. My point was more that Natsu was so bad on SCV, that parodying and taking the piss out of how bad her design is on Project X Zone 2 was actually funny and entertaining. Apparently she used modern Japan slang on SCV, but that wasn't even included in our version with an equivalent.
So PXZ2 carried that aspect over to the localization like SCV didn't, but couldn't use Japanese slang obviously, so they had to find a suitable replacement, so they used modern American slang and way of speaking. But she was hanging out with people in the modern world and future on PXZ2.... so maybe she actually just learned it there in the first place?
Ok, now I'm just trying to apply logic in making sense of the stupid, but you get my point by now. lol
I'd ditch that whole slangy aspect entirely if I was in charge of bringing back if it was me.

The thing with her is, being cursed with Japanese demon inside of herself, a blonde ninja doesn't help things.
At least if they make and highlight that she's European, they can make the whole thing a little less bad anime feeling.
It's one those things where because of the concept, it's still gonna be there without intentionally changing her visual design to look Japanese instead. So, tackling the design and concept better would help.
They could have her parents be Europeans who traveled to Japan. Their kid got possessed while there. Parents get scared, try everything they can, but ultimately have to leave her with an exorcist and under Taki's care in particular. Taki will have accepted that if the day ever comes and the demon takes over, then she'll kill Natsu. It's pretty much the "general idea" they had for her, but better structured and more believably grounded.

SCV had a more muted and dull color palette I noticed between the two.
Some character faces in SCIV and V were just bad, awkward, and/or off looking.
ZWEI was mentioned in this topic already as one of the bad ones (I'd say worst overall). I don't know what the fuck happened between the character art and translating that to a 3D model, but whoever did that and those that just thought that was ok is beyond me.
His mouth was too close to his nose, face and nose look smushed in too. Just bad. Really bad.

Somewhat surprisingly, I actually don't know who's the producer and director yet. I'll probably find out when you do at this rate.

I'm fine with SCIVs models, but you can really notice the bigger eyes and the rounder face that fits the popular kawaii face.
Not a problem for me though.
