And the poll was an attempt to build hype up for a 20th anniversary reveal that flopped. Instead, it will be on the 21st and hopefully a bit further in development than we expect.

Think about it, when they were doing the poll, they already thought they had the game close to alpha. Unless they went "Oh Geez, everyone likes Talim... Cancel the announcement, lets go back to the drawing board on 3 years of work for her".... No....

Yeah, he seems to be under the impression that the team is continuing Daishi's vision for some reason. Vergeben specifically said there were retcons in SCVI. That's generally a term used when they want to fix something.

But they revealed the results with Talim winning. Why say "here's the most popular character!!!" then when they would have revealed the game and gone on with reveals not show the most popular character??

And not to mention that the Facebook banner includes cut characters from SCV. Now, why would they represent the series with characters who aren't going to be in it anymore? Just a thought.

The Retcons will probably involve Xiangua. The odds are SUPER high that is the Retcon. Why? Because Kilik is supposed to be back from Mimic Duty, and you can't have Kilik without Maxi and Xiangua being a dorky trio. That means Leixia gets the "Marle Chrono trigger obliteration" and Xiba gains 500 pounds and falls off a cliff.

Taki? Talim? Fart in the wind for them, they are not tied to anyone if I recall.

Because showing new character art for a new game before its announced would be stupid.

Hope for Talim 2.0. Crazier and actually good.

Alright, this is going nowhere. So I'm just going to wait and see to get the facts that I know I'm right about.

Setsuka was an original character when she debut in SCIII with Zas & Tira. A. Pat was stupid way to ruin her style just to make him super cool.

That felt more like an exception than a rule. Think about all other guest characters, Link, Heihachi, Spawn, Lloyd, Darth Vader, The Apprentice, and I'm not even going to include Yoda, their movesets were never adapted, there is no reason for us to believe Ezio will have the same treatment as Kratos.

He'd a perfect fit to get adapted. His style was practically made to be in SC, so translating that to a new character would be ideal.
