Better frame advantage after her WL and you dont use any attacks. I swear, every time i cancel her unblockable i need to use K to get on the ground so i dont get punished, and i still end up getting punished on the ground a lot of the time.

yea i hate wen i go to UB cancel and find out im too far away to do anything so i basically just fucked my self.

I wish to:
1. Give IWC a JF version in which it becames safer and launches (dusnt have to give a big launch, but gimme some gauranteed damage or oki or somethin)
2. Make empty AS safer (what Yubashiri said)
3. Give me a way to consistently get the stun in 33a. Or at least make it safe.
4. Make her damn 6aa 6ab mixup useful. maybe make 6aa positive frames so that they want to duck into 6ak.
5. Make the low part of 4aa a separate move. maybe make that 2a+k or somethin.
6. GIVE HER SOME WIND POWERS DAMNIT. She obviously can use the wind (look at cf) and apparently can raise the dead (look at ending) so why aint she fullscreenin 66b with wind or callin zombies to gangrape the enemy or somethin? (halfway joking)

And of course wat u all said.

^#5 would be a great tool to have, as well as a safe 33A. I don't like the 33A stun personally, as I'd rather have the guaranteed knockdown/wallsplat/RO rather than praying the stun doesn't ruin that.

More cancels in general would also be fun to experiment with. (almost like Vader in a way). This is also depending on whatever new moves they end up giving her. Hopefully a good low from BT
 
She had a new move in BD- what was it and was it any good? (I hardly played the game so forgot).

you talkin bout her GB move? the only thing i remember is that it was a crumple stuns that didnt reall have any good combos after. IT TCd throughout and had good range tho.

And btw i meant to say on #4 6aa and 6ak, and that they should giv 6aa positive frames on block. im sure yall knew wat i meant tho.
 
Ok I know im a newbie but I just have two (crazy ideas) to share : ) to fix the range and evaision why cant she control the wind a lil? Like the apprentice does with the force move to move them just a lil closer to him why cant she have something like that? And when she does a wind kick or back kick thats blocked if she could kick out a lil further that would help like just a gust of wind takes her just outta range. anyway if these 2 things were in scv ithink it could help her her out with range and evasion just my opinion : )

Played some matches with Sophitia yesterday and realized something... Talim's pressure would be much better with a more solid CF game to enforce. Her CF game isn't bad, but if she had more moves that crushed in 10 or less or a really good horizontal that CF'd quickly, it would be a lot easier to make people afraid of her options.

@Envy - that wouldn't be unreasonable to have a "force pull" type move using the wind, since they did give it to Apprentice.

If they're up to it I'd say neutral on block but not open to whiffing like the apprentices' force tug. Its a high, often doesnt catch back step, doesnt catch side step, whiffs during some animations, and I've had it consistently whiff against amy. I like the idea a lot, but I hope they make it actually workable.

I'm half expecting for them to say something like "The wind caused her to age more slowly, so she is only 17-19." with a epic cloak/cape flapping in the wind on top of a cliff before gliding her way down to Falcon Kick the swords.
But seriously, I do hope she comes back.
 
Oh! If Talim ages 17 years she'll look like mah Avatar! :D In fact they'll probably make her BadAss but still low tier. to be honest. I dont want her to be high tier. Maybe a little tweaked but nothing higher than lower mid would be alright with me. :D
 
Yea, I sort of like seeing almost no one use her when I play.
But at the same time...I don't like how much BS some (more then some) have over her.
Well, not really BS in some cases, I guess.
 
I wonder if its possible to ask Namco to make her better and i agree with Yeroti.
I really liked the fact that no one uses Talim so when you do come across one its a fifty fifty chance that that Talim player would be bad ass. And its a great feeling to prove that yours is better then the next guys/gals.
Maybe its possible to make a petition to help her move set, frame recovery and advantage, give her stances cancel movements i.e. hold gaurd to not always jump forward. Also bit of range but to tell you the truth i love the fact that i had to be a millimeter away to do what i had to do. the rush that you get being so close that you will get grabed most of the time. I mean yeah i was mad that i would whiff 20 times in a single round but hey life is rough. and also lets submit some costume designs. like a contest or something.
