How much have you spent on SCV?

I am going to be honest, so judge me all you want. Besides paying for the game, I have bought the strategy guide, the dampierre dlc, and three arcade sticks (110, 180, 200 dollars). I also purchased a capture device to try out uploading videos. Now I didn't get the ps3 for the game, but I kinda did buy the xbox 360 for the game while my ps3 was out for repairs. So that means I bought the xbox copy of the game (this time a third of the original sale price) and the Dampierre dlc again. I also contributed to this site once, and have driven to an arcade a couple of times for the experience. I hope I can make it to a big tournament like EVO in the future to spectate.

And for anyone wondering, I have to say the scv community in xbox live is larger than psn and seems to have fewer disconnects (though that may be because there are more people with better connections). But that also means more ragequitters and trolls.

All in all, not regretful. If the ps4 were to come out with shitty games, but then release SC6, I'd buy that shit too.

Madcatz SC5 SE Stick (Gifted to me by a friend on the game launch. He knew I loved 2-4)
All the DLC costumes
All the DLC music
Dampierre (had 2 codes, but used them on other accounts - Never touch him)
Base game - Kinda tempted to pick up the SE for the two extra armors it comes with, they look kinda sweet
HDPVR 2 - This is not just for SC5, but I did buy it after some people on the forums were asking for some gameplay. Amazon had a decent sale on, so picked it up as a little treat.

Money literally means squat to me, so I would not say any of this is wasted;or justified. Either way, I'd buy it all again.

My only real worry is that the release of a Super Soul Calibur 5 as opposed to a SC6 would mean that I have to pay for all the DLC again. If so, that would anger me out of principle.

Are the arcade sticks better to use than the sony controller?

It's subjective, but I could never do quarter circles or shoryuken inputs (623) on the controller. The stick was also great for me because as a Hilde player, I don't have to make some unique control mapping. On the controller, my mapping was so unique that I could not easily play other characters. The stick made me branch out from 1 character to now 7 and counting.

Probably spent way too much on SCV since I got everything at launch. I guess I could have waited till it all hit the bargain bin but I would not have had the patience to wait that long.

I think I bought almost every iteration of a Soul Calibur game on every console.
-Soul Blade (US release of Soul Edge) on original Playstation
-Soul Calibur (Dreamcast) then years later on Xbox Live and iOS
-Soul Calibur II (all consoles) Gamecube, PS2, Xbox
-Soul Calibur III PS2
-Soul Calibur IV - PS3/Xbox 360 both as Collector's Edition (all DLC) - Also got Brady strategy guide book
-Soul Calibur Broken Destiny for PSP (got a limited SCBD soundtrack CD and art booklet for preorder)
-Soul Calibur V - PS3/Xbox 360 both as Collector's Edition at launch (got the Ivy bobble bud + T-shirt for preorder) - Futurepress strategy guide hard cover book + all DLC on both consoles
-Every official soundtrack for all the games in the "Soul Calibur" series imported from Japan (except SCBD mentioned above which never really had an official release) along with Soul Edge and one my all time favorite Khan Super Session for Soul Edge. Yes, I have the official SCV Collector's Soul Calibur V 3-DISC/dvd soundtrack ordered direct from Eminence Symphony Orchestra (this is not the sampler LE soundtrack included in SCV CE game)

- These books released around debut of SCV: Queensgate Ivy art/gamebook & Expanded story artbook for SCV - Settings Guide New Legends of Project Soul

Never bought any official SC arcade sticks but I spent some money modifying 2 Madcatz SF4 TE sticks to the theme of SCIV:

Not a complete collection but still looking for anything SC related..

I've had my good 'ol Blackmagic Intensity HD capture card go from one computer upgrade to the next over the past few years. I make Soul Calibur fan films.

I guess when it comes to Soul Calibur, I pretty much throw out principle of cost.
I am a hardcore fan but I guess I would be consider a "casual" player since I don't play competively online or otherwise.

Namco Bandai and their licensee's can release more SC games, books, figures, swag or what have you and I will be happy to throw more money at them =)

Probably not gonna lie, you are god amongst collecting all these things. For me, I've only continuously collected the special editions for each iteration of the games and guides since SC2. I still want to get the Expanded story artbook for SCV.

I was really looking forward to the latest batch of CAS item parts (nightmare / raph 1p parts)

I can't be the only one

@skytoast: That collection is gonna be difficult to beat.

I have no idea how much I've spent in total, but I do have some extra stuff I've bought based on the series. A couple of artbooks, some soundtracks and an arcade stick. I've bought every game in the series since SC2 (that's when I got into the series), and I've usually bought more than more than one copy if the game was released for several platforms.

I bought the game itself and all of the DLC save for maybe one or two packs. So however much that was.

There's no shame in showing your like for the game by buying your favorite merchandise.
For SCV, other then the game, I really only bought the CAS DLC. All except the School outfit, valkyrie, maid, and modern day packs. It's too bad they stopped, I would've bought more.

1x SCIV, 2x SCV, the huge mega awesome official strategy guide and most of the DLC.
I've also won a third copy of SCV, a SCV t-shirt, 2012 SCV calendar as well as an iphone SCV cover.
