Oh I had one of these once. I concluded that you can't really decide if a character is perfect for your playstyle because you can always adapt your playstyle to fit your character just as easily as you can change a character to fit your playstyle.

When I started, I used Pat, then alpha, and then went Tira. After none of them clicked I went random select. It chose Hilde randomly and upon playing her the first time I said to myself "This is it. This is my character. I will be the best Hilde ever!".

Really? I never had a moment where Omega and I just "clicked". I started off maining Alpha and then dropped him when I came to the sad realisation that he doesn't have an umbrella or boobs. I played Viola for a bit, then came to the sad realisation that she's a tad on the broken side. Meanwhile Omega sort of grew on me like a tumour.

It probably is Pat but I wanna really make sure. I feel like I just main Pat because I've played him for the longest though

I had one of these before. I went from Pat to Mitsu to Leixia to Asta to Apat to Pat to to Apat to Tira to Hilde to Yoshi to Maxi to Apat to Pat to Apat and now I'm in this weird place between Omega/ Xiba/ Mitsu. I guess you just have to experiment and see what works best.
