    I've found that if I'm having trouble playing against a character, I'll spend some time trying to play that character so I can get a feel for what people who play him/her are thinking. Like if I find I'm getting bodied by a particular move, I'll keep getting bodied by it until I can learn WHY that move is being used against me.

    @Sandman - that's not what I was saying. Some players KNOW that a certain character has braindead tools and they play them for that reason. To abuse it so they can win. Those same players then talk like they are above those who stick with a character and try to make them work.

    Instead of adapting through skill, they "adapt" by jumping on the bandwagon. I don't have an issue with tier-whores themselves, just the mentality that they're somehow above those who find legitimate gripes with a game in terms of balance.

    Hi ZeroEffect! Not sure if you remembered me but I was the one who wanted you to beat JJJ because I felt I could more easily deal with Leixia than Mitsurugi (LOL). I was at Winter Brawl. I was wondering, I had a friend (a beginner to Soul Calibur) who was looking into Leixia and was wondering if you could help them and whatnot. It's okay if you can't. Thanks in advance! :D

    I got that, but does he check 8wr? I mean there's also a bunch tutorial stuff I did for learning her. Otherwise, I dunno what exact info he's looking for.

    I'd have to see a video of him playing to know what he should work on. My tutorial videos are a good start, but Id have to see how much he knows already.

    Still I only saw you creeping in the webcam in the begginer and suddenly my night was set hahah. And yea Fray can be a little crude but still he speaks well. I only got into Leixia last week so I guess I wanted to thank you for your amazing tutorial series. It really got me into Leixia's tech, compared to my other characters who I had to learn through sight and reading. Respect.

    On the contrary of getting the hang of Leixia, I found that it was possible to execute Instant FC 3B by simply holding 3, pressing G then B in succession. Don't know if this means anything to you or what but I figured i'd mention it as I thought it was pretty interesting.

    Yeah I know why they do it. I just find myself hovering between "glad I could help" and "gI'm just a strategy guide with hands". All smarts, medium skill, lol

    Who in the world is better than you? There can't be many.

    Been watching your vids btw, the thing about meter build with 2B+K ground hit is great, I use it a lot near walls and that makes the mixup win-win.

    lol, not sure if you were joking or not. but uh, I'd say there's a few who are better atm just in that sixth sense for decision making.

    And yeah 2B+K. I've only recently been applying this to my wall game, despite having done the video months ago.

    No, but I do believe that everyone has habits, preferences, and weaknesses. Recognizing and using them to your advantage, your opponent and your own, is one one thing that separates a lot of players.

    You have to stop putting pressure on yourself. You are not there to prove anything but to play a game and gain experience. At least for me that seems to work. I dont feel like i would embarrass myself if i should lose or anything, i just try to give my best and have a good match.

    Agreed 100%. It's not really the embarrassment for me. I tend to be less sure of my reads. Mostly due to the limited time you have to adapt. That and I respect people WAY too much sometimes, lol.

    Lol at players finding "amazing new tech" and then keepin it to themselves... just makes you look scared and attention starved.
