The negative frames aren't that bad since you can hit confirm the string, and if they are conditioned to see 33A you can pop them up with the kick if they try something. Off the string you can ground combo for around 70 dmg, that's pretty good, you're not going to get much more unless it's from...
Some other stuff to consider:
22K one of his best moves, you can trap a lot of characters off block and force hesitation, good gauge too.
3K extremely powerful in mixups and is abuseable if properly ranged.
66K staple mid useful in several situations.
33AK series, huge damage for a...
Usefulness of Yun unfinished string baits offline?
arstal:
Because of the damage you can do in crane... conditioning them with pretty much anything that can transition into crane becomes a strong mixup opportunity. You can apply that way of thinking to most canned strings worth their salt.
1K,2K - 1K,K mixups
It's 1KK~G. It isn't safe but you can condition them to hesitate with the canned strings (1KK_1K2K) and then use the cancel into crane mixes.
Ya there is no need for a G input (unless its helps your timing by occupying empty space), just stop a string half way through and start something else. Although some delayable strings may require a bit more practice like timing Yun's 6K into standing KKB, or WSA into standing KKB.
How does the patch effect Yun
So far the only noticeable thing is the soul damage reduction. It seems to have hit his horizontals harder than his verticals, but overall the difference is marginal (most are only an extra couple of hits). He is still among the best of them in draining gauge...and...
A lot of those are custom strings not combos.
After a CH CR>B you can combo with a 4B*K and jf :G off of the 3rd kick into a CR>B.
4B*K is the delayed version where he doesn't lift them into the air. If you don't do the delayed version the opponent can Air Control away from you and avoid...
The smilies for directional inputs are on the right panel in your posting tools.

I like the BB setup, that covers a lot of typical pokes they might throw at you,
2B is good too.
For a block setup I don't see much outside of GS 22B, although I have gotten 33B to sometimes work.
yunseongnlx: As long as you are in Crane and not doing anything the evade will work. The easiest way to understand the Auto Evade would be to just go into practice mode and record your opponent doing something like A, then BB. Block the A and then hit B+K and you go into crane and auto evade...
The Crane Auto evade happens automatically whenever your opponent tries to hit Yun with a B attack. The first K he does is automatic, you need to manually hit K as he connects with the first kick to finish the attack throw. Also you if the auto evade kick comes out on on CH it generates a...
Ya I follow you. That string can be useful if they are conditioned to duck or hesitate from JS 6AB. Counter hitting the B is nasty, and mixes involving WSK are usual great in general. Just be careful with your mixes off of JS 6A since both hits of the canned string give your opponent free pokes.
Updated the study with Tokis's data.
sirkibble2: It sounds like your string was effective because opponent wasn't familiar with Tira or online lag. 4A:A is great for step but a lot of character's can AA you on block, tech crouch moves can help here, but if they are on to Tira you'll probably...
