Hi Yoshi players !

I've been playing Yoshi for a few weeks now, and I got the basics down. So it's time to try a few combos.
I'm not managing to get this one to work. Yet it's supposed to be his bread and butter for interruption :

CH 2a:b, 8A, 3AB, a:B+K, 66B

The 66B doesn't connect properly, it comes out too late and the opponent is already blocking.
Am I being to slow or is it the recovery for a:B+K that has risen in 1.03 ? I'm not managing to connect 44bB after aB+K either, but I do get it before (well, I manage sometimes, proper timing to do 3AB, 44bB, a:B+K is very hard on my fingers). I've also seen a couple other combo videos that finish with a:B+K, 3B (that are said to only work on larger characters), but same thing it gets blocked...

Thanks for your insights

Correct notation is CH 2a:B (or iMCF), 22B, 3AB, a:B+K, 66B.

66B does connect, but you have to buffer it in after a:B+K to guarantee the hit. Remember it only hits certain characters. The list that 66B will work on is in the combo thread.

44bB does not connect after a:B+K. It does connect after the 3AB, but timing is very tight.

You can finish that juggle with a:B+K, 1B and it will connect on everyone most of the time. Sometimes it will miss if they land too far away.

Please post any other general questions about Yoshi mechanics in this thread: http://www.8wayrun.com/f48/yoshimitsu-general-discussion-t176/.

Plus, 66B can be teched out of after a:B+K so it isn't always guaranteed. It sounds like you are doing it a little too slowly, though. If your opponent seems to be teching normally and trying to block instead of tech rolling to the side, you can always catch them with 66A+B which tech traps after a:B+K. Can be avoided with a tech roll to any side though, so be careful with that.
