I had a last insect in me. I called it Brundle Fly.

At the beginning, i went for black eyes with recognizable honeycomb pattern (which is okay for some species or fly), then i ended up going for another variety of fly eyes (orange with special pattern), which makes it stand out from the other 3, gives a bit of contrast in the coulour scheme, and overall a different soul.

An interesting thing is that i found the perfect shiny green color for the head (helmet) part by just giving it pattern 1 and all three colors pitch black (you know that if you use pattern 1 on metal surfaces you have that kind of magical effects)

You tell me which one you like best, i kept orange because it looked more unique and interesting in-game ;o).

Other than that, the head and the rest of the body are a lot of tweaks and differences with the other 3, i went for a more furry look for this one, because flies have hair on some body parts. I tried to replicate hair on the head too, and the antenna like thing they have between the eyes. I managed to use only one ball for the fly's globulous eyes (also a different use of it than for the other insects...it takes balls to achieve it ;o)

Also, following PockyYoshi's advice (hope he'll appreciate the credits), and to avoid making an all-Voldo insect squad, i went for Yoshi's style, and i must say, flag aside (i choose the most nature themed flag), it works pretty well, and i can't wait to try it on Le Bello's pandora's box of Dampierres ;o)

Wanted to point out here that the black-eyed one is MUCH creepier, in Le Bello's humble but keen opinion. What are the shoulders, or did you use Raccoon tails?

My Moth is taking a different tack, it's more a Moth-Human thing.. ah, you'll see dear Vil, you'll see. I also noticed a few subtles updates (I think, mayhaps I'm mistaken) in your last post, particularly on the pirate. It'd be nice to see some of the improved versions in battle sometime.

I agree though, more people need in-battle screenshots and such. Though it's harder to do, it really brings out the sense of the character. Your brundle fly, for example, wouldn't be as effective without the 'spitting' image.

yep black one is creepier !

a few subtle updates here and there yes, but nothing worth mentioning...i did two versions of the pirate, one with a turtle shell and skull piece a la "pirates of the caribbean", i have not kept it (though it was more original and perhaps creepier / more to your taste) but i wanted to have Edge's face fully visible...here it is !
This hat build could be used to do a very good doctor with the beak mask (a la Assassin's creed) but it was not too challenging to do, so i never did any other CAS with that whacky hat...i noticed rdmunhoz used it on his mousquetaire, borrowed or found out about it himself, he'll tell us because he is an honest chap ;o)

as for the brundle fly, the shoulder is a fur shoulder piece with pattern 1, looks better than raccoon tail that looks weird when stretched / modified...and then i would have needed 4 or 5 special equipment pieces, which will probably be on offer as a 160 MSP DLC very soon (just kidding ;o)

I love it! The hat/mask idea is a creepycool concept. Red Halo for the eyes yeah?

I'm excited for Cerv/Raph's hats. And even Hilde's! So many pirates. I can understand not keeping it though. Such a limited number of slots! Argh!

And I completely forgot about the furred shoulder pieces, though my Moth won't be able to wear them, which is a shame. (I'd happily pay a little extra for more special slots. Not even kidding.)

HOOOOOOOOOOLY TERMINATOR that is badass. Vil, you've really outdone yourself here. Excellent use of the horns as hair, superb use of that mask, and the snakeskin pattern really fits well. Remind Le Bello to bring some mud to our next fight.

That is all, absolutely no CAS slot, i used cloud, HDD, USB, now...no can't do, but that will be more than enough novelty for when Le Bello comes back.
