Oh you don't need to! The only way I'll get better is to fight stronger players, though I prefer private rooms so I don't make a fool out of myself, dohoh! It was great seeing Justin's Z.W.E.I as well - I really have no idea how to fight him, so that was cool.

The BOOTS were missing? That's odd, they're the Valkyrie boots, so they should've been visible if the fauld and gauntlets were. How odd...

Well I decided that my Edge Master 3P should be Olcadan. Made sense no? But armour break sucks in this scenario.

Oh, I must've missed that detail. My bad! (I noticed the comic hit effects were gone though ;D)

Oh, the robots! They didn't do much for me, but that's because I never saw the series... My bad! They were impressive though, very intimidating. Very angular and bulky looking. I liked!

I was also showing off costumes! I just love my Leixia outfits, mydear friend. (Though Kayane has moved over to playing Viola because of how bad Leixia is now...)
When I was in Pocky's room though, we saw this outstanding Leixia... It made me feel very small.

But yeah, I would say we were fairly evenly matched, but more to the point, who cares about that? Whether I win or lose, if I'm having fun, then that's the main thing, is it not mi amigo?
Though if Lil Vil is entertained, then even better!

I thank you for noticing! To be fair, I rarely spend much time practicing as of late, but when I do, I refuse to leave until I have a new little trick up my sleeve. And then I will do my best to see it used online, to check it's parciticality. I must admit, ringing you out with my Leixia BE Combo was a surprise for me!

Your Nightmare is annoying, at best. And by that I mean you know what you're doing, and are very good with timng his moves. You're good at spacing, and seem easily able to switch between ranges, so it's an intimidating style, but I think I can beat it! One day my friend, one day!

Scyle describes Aeon as a very "Black and White" character, so I try to play with him in different ways and see what else he can do. Sadly I feel Scyle is right. Though I DO love my fire barrage~

I noticed that too! Whenever you change save, the connection improves. Bizarre isn't it? But I'm all for upping the strength, so let's do it.

And a random-off eh? Next time we fight, it's all I'll use sir.


Oh, and I'd LOVE to see you play Pocky sometime.
 
i'd love to play Pocky for the sake of him commenting on my CAS after seeing them IRL...not for the fun of being crushed (if i got you right).
That's the problem when you show off CAS of various styles...your mind gets all confused, but sometimes you get the upper hand because your CAS impresses the opponent (works pretty well on the sensitive nature of Le Bello at least ;o)

But i love Yoshimitsu so much as a SC icon, i'd really like to see a proficient Pocky player, as long as he uses various moves and ones i don't see that often (i know quite a few myself, like the air juggle and seppuku combo, which is actually pretty safe if you manage to land the air, i showed you remember...
I used to be a very proficient player with mistu and cervy on 4, but i am now only average with both (lack of training that is all), i had this killer secret combo i used with my main Shura, which does not exist anymore sadly.

But as you mentioned, who cares, this is no contest, just fun private matches, some of them are really fun watching...i will do the 2nd session trick with Pocky if it can improve connection, because if i got the mess i sometimes get with you or even worse dreadnaught (US), it is just infuriating, because, as you said, you make a fool of yourself, you mistime and your inputs are either wrong or just deprioritized, and who likes that, right ;o) In a game where speed and combos are emphasized (way too much for my liking), it makes matters even worse ;o)

I might start with Mummymistu for sure...

and i can be fierce too, just to forewarn you...french revolutionnaire mon ami !

On a side note, we had some funny fights again with Le Bello tonight, we had two sessions, one with the usual 1 bar and horrendous lag fucking everything up, and 1 with 5 bars which was so much more enjoyable.

Le Bello had some nice new CAS (especially liked his Hilde and Rock) but i had not downloaded the comp pack (my bad...) so i missed a few parts.
Also, while i kinda destroy him with Mitsu, i can't see through his Leixia madness...those are two OP styles anyways, that and speedy nighty. Lil Vil was watching and laughed and chuckled all along...(more when dad was winning of course ;o)

oh well, sir you are quite the proficient Yoshi/Leixia/Natsu player. I was really fun to watch you do crazy tricks as i had hoped to see, a sheer delight to behold, and you kinda held it back sometimes or made a fool out of me by flying around to avoid me and make me "give up"...i will have some nice moments to watch with Lil Vil as i already secured our best bouts in "my battles".
The best thing about is that i giggled because it reminded me of SC4, where i could pull that kind of moves with Yoshi as well (especially the priceless dragonfly grab mid air and some seppukus ;o)

Technically, you are vastly superior as i anticipated, and there was this input lag that drove me crazy sometimes (from 1 to 3 bars depending on our fights), still most were "playable", but this slight speed advantage and timing changing all the time, well, i tried to keep cool...

Thankfully, i went for 2 rounds, which allowed me to grab a few wins during the first session...
There were quite a few very close ones i might have won with less input lag (or a bit more luck hehe)...
I am especially proud of the one with Hilde, Launcelot and Neytiri, and a mitsu too i think...
I also got a 2-1 lead against your yoshi and i thought i had won, then i realized i had forgotten to change to 2 rounds for our second session (cuuuuuuuurse me ! ;o(((

What saddens me is that it kinda did no go the way i wanted to show my CAS properly to you...first i saw not that many win stances (lol), then i was 1P, so the face was sometimes obstructed, then you broke armour more often than not (hard to avoid i guess)
I could show about half of the collection, and tried to keep it varied...

Considering the win stances are cool and allow you to see details and the soul of the CAS much better, i don't know what you got out of it in terms of fan service (but you were all competitive from beginning to the end, so my fault it is not...)
I hope you can comment on what you saw though...

Then i had a few fights with Le Bello, and on our 2nd session we had 5 bars and no lag at all, it was a real pleasure and a relief for me, honestly, and we had some nice fights...i got to see a few new additions from Le Bello, like nice Valkyrie Hilde, rhino skely aeon and "beauty" talon eagle CAS.
Random was random, but why the hell did they not put a random but only custom option puzzles me.
I acted with chivalry on one fight (to see the win stance of Hilde) yet was not rewarded later on (sadly).

Oh well...what a gruelling night...and a few nice replays to watch
 
guys, i have done some extensive reediting and updates on my slideshow (latest CAS and other changes)...
i don't think i'll be changing much now since it is already pretty long, so please tell me what you think, it has been a lot of work editing...

No worries though, I respect peeps who either give me a beat down or peeps get one from me and still keep fighting with all they got. Best thing to do, is always spend time learning some hardcore stuff by asking for help to stand a better chance against competent opponents. If you'd like I can help you get started.

Aside from that, I did get a good look at your CAS. Favorites are asian Hilde, that dark Pocky Yoshi(though it had a deep odd girl voice), Pocahontas, the alien(black one with green thing in its mouth), Predator, and Mummymitsu.

Everyone else was very nice, just those stood out as my favorites. My bad for breaking them. That's why I use edits a bit more frequently sometimes when going serious. At least they don't look as bad when destroyed. Plus, recoloring kinda them sometimes gives me ideas.

In terms of best characters? Yoshi I can humbly say is all I got. Leixia comes next. Dampierre(don't have him on my Ripp account), Natsu, and Hilde are third. And that's who I stick to using. I could of picked someone else just for some lulz, but my hardcore side wanted me to keep practicing my favorite characters ^^;

Anyways, hope to play you again.
 
no problem, it is just from on on, we could just let each other win to see a nice new CAS or win stance...nothing at stake, we are of equal strength, and we are here for "la beauté du jeu", non ?
So for my or your favourite CAS, or to experience win stances for those you haven't seen, make a few hardly noticeable misses or forget to parry...
So my passivity with Raphaël did not trouble you, hehe ;o)
For Lil Vil, we can also try to do some funny stuff and crazy grabs and other unsafe moves or ROs...

Well, we'll see...but no harm done, don't sweat...now you just officially "owe" me the few dozens reviews you promised, remember ;o) Just kidding, but a comment on the slideshow maybe (if you can make it work this time)...

Thanks for the offer, but with job, 2 kids and all, i am afraid i don't have that much time for in-depth training, no doubt you would be a good teacher for Yoshi...as i once was for Shura back in 4...
 
I present you The Alien (Grunt version).
For this one, i went a slightly different approach, color-wise (dark/metallic blue tint) and equipment-wise (i choose the mohawk to mimic the spikes on his back instead of the drool the queen has, and i made the shell thiner and as long as possible), and obviously, the mask gives him the looks...

i guess your PC can't stomach that much CAS in a row, perfectly fluid on mine (which is already 4 years old ;o)
