A tale of souls and swords, eternally retold...

I was on Armory once, at least my Praying Mantis was ;o) Le Bello tipped an admin i guess, or was it already you...

Guess you could ask for a bump with pics of the Yankee General Edge, Count Dracula Cervy and Christopher Columbus screenshots i posted.
Also, the HD playlist i did back then is a cool way to discover some of my CAS (link in sig)

Entirely up to you of course, but thanks for offering ;o)

I got my share of attention, and in a few days, i will hold my artbook in my hands (just finished editing it and ordering it today).
And tomorrow, i shall meet my friend Le Bello again...

Of course, i still take on friend requests on xbox live for those who'd like to see some CAS action, for cool and not overly competitive guys though...i hate random armor breaks more than anybody else after more than 300 hours on the editor ;o)

For starters, worry on Armory stuff(aka 8wayrun e-newspaper). I usually have to tell my buddy Spid3r what CAS to add. Consider it a time to advertise the best of the best to draw in more 8wayrunners and perhaps a developer might be lurking about to see yours, Gatsu's, Matty82's, Fliptop's, etc.
You should advertise scrubs like me not popular people :<

There is a reason why Pocky Yoshi said etc. This means you, Fliptop, rdmunhoz, chobek, Samaras_Madness, HolyCarp, etc.

hey bud... I tried to improve the facial hair on Thor like you said... it's a little better but still weird a little because as I used my 3 itens in other things... I can't did a mustache
take a look in my gallery... thank you friend

done, looks much better indeed...

oh and we had quite a few nice matchups with Le Bello today, enough to wow Lil Vil and enough to produce one last Online Symphony slideshow. With Le Bello's 4 elements (earth, wind and fire CAS), my new ones, and a couple old favourites, or new versions...i'll have to do the photoshoot first...

Right now i am really eagerly awaiting my artbook...

...and also the comments from Le Bello, now he has seen all the latest (and last) CAS in motion (well, we did miss one or two probably ;o)

Nice work. How did you create that ripped glove for vampire Cervantes?

Hey Norik,

With all the likes, i was expecting a post from you someday...at long last, here it is, an it is nice to read from you (not giving up on a post from Gatsu either, with all the likes i gave him, liked his spawn recreation recently, very clever ;o)

About your question, i used the round knee/elbow patch motif as Kittenpaste mentioned, gave it t intended white glove colour, then gave the actual glove the skin color, and then my trademark blood pattern.
The good thing (or bad thing, depending on how you like it) is that it duplicates to the other glove as well, limiting sticker use.

For the ripped clothes effect on the arms, a sticker placed by axis was used, when you place some stickers by axis and move them onto an arm, they stretch and produce sometimes weird and interesting effects. Can you guess which sticker i used ?

No, I want you to say my name and just my name *runs away crying*

Mistakoo, i did make a lot of advertising for you back then, in one of my slideshow remember.
I definitely like your stuff, you are part of the advanced creators' club, no doubt about that, and while your thread might not be as popular as Gatsu's, Matty's, Chobek's or mine, it is still on first page all the time, am i right ?

So no need to count hits or replies, who cares, as long as you are proud of your CAS and at least some people like it.
There is so much content here on offer that it is hard to keep track...

PS : my artbook (2 copies) has been sent to me today, i might hold it in my hands tomorrow or monday at the latest...can't wait...it is a mini book of more than 75 pages and 150+ pics, categorized in acts :

Act 1 : Souls of Heroic Fantasy (self explanatory, the likes of Launcelot, Conan, Lich King, Diablo etc.)
Act 2 : Souls of The Future (Sci-Fi themed CAS, like Bumblebee, Space Nighty, Aliens, Predators, Space Hookers ;o)
Act 3 : Comedy of Souls (All the slapstick or comedic CAS like Ewoks, clowns, nurses, dancers, etc.)
Act 4 :Souls of the Underworld (the undead, from skely CAS to liches, ghouls and vampires)
Act 5 :Bestiary of Souls (the realm of animals and the insect world, mantis, wasps, tigers etc.)
Act 6 : Transcending History and the World (CAS from all around the world and from all ages, from Bruce Lee to Columbus, El Che, asian themed CAS...Chobek inspired me into doing this with his blog page and the awesome "a different time and place" CAS collection)

I hope the end result will be good, because i have invested time and money in this...

That is all for now ;o)

Lulz. You guys are spoiled and silly. Mistakoo, you are talented since you've won more than one Iron CAS contest. You're a hardworker. Goodness, some of you CAS artists are like beauty queens of high school. Always need to be told they're the bestest, prettiest, and amazing all around.

Ironically, I haven't mentioned myself as some good CAS artist and I'm the one giving peeps CAS threads more attention than mine.

I wanna be the very best.. like no one ever was!

(I apologize for being an immature whiny bitch, but IT'S WHO I AM :<)

I was joking (or was I?) and I did appreciate that great plug :')

BAH! I have never won an Iron CAS Competition... I tied with Fliptop once .... but ....

:)
... don't worry though... I can take the harsh world of competition .... I'm just fine .... 'sniff... wait ... I've never won Le Bello's challenge either.... always the bridesmaid :)
)

lol, i remember you were supposed to win the tiger lily greaves one with a superb CAS, and then the Alien Hooker came along...somehow, i felt sorry for you (or not ? *wink* *wink*)

Ironically, I haven't mentioned myself as some good CAS artist and I'm the one giving peeps CAS threads more attention than mine.

See, you want attention too ;o)

I am yet to see a CAS of yours that wows me, which is not the case of all the others you mentioned...edits don't quite do the trick, and you always admitted you were doing mostly that...
and i know our tastes regarding CAS differ somehow ;o)

but then you did those comics which i found cool (blurry pics aside), and of course you are one of the pillars of this community, and have been very generously doing things for us all along.
And i love your one-liners with verbs that end with "eth"...

That i can value as much as being a good CAS artist my friend ;o) !

In a sense, I like attention despite feeling very flattered. However, it's rather embarrassing to say I adore attention since I prefer to put others over mine. Hence my sig dedicated for you CAS artists. To impress you? Hmmm sadly it's hard to crack an actual CAS to your liking. Sure you could say it's easy, however your preferences are very high compared to mine. However, I've become more interested any CAS that intrigues me haha.

Last show, with pics from Le Bello elemental CAS (earth/wind/fire)
A few bonus shots in the end from past funtimes with Le Bello
Fairly long one, so you can skip ahead the pics if you want (after giving it some time to buffer them)

I think you are the only person who was sure that I was set to win.... from my angle I was neck and neck with a few people.... and then you entered a very creative and unique creation.
:)

I kinda hated the challenges because my Puppet Doll Talim did not win ;o)
But then i managed to win the next one...and that was enough for me, i could certainly enter many challenges with the CAS i did, but i either did not really read the rules, or just went with CAS i had already shown off...so no chance i guess...

Guys, noticed the new slideshow a couple of posts above (in very small font ;o) ?

I am opposite... :) I like the challenges, and specifically the rules... but once I am done with the CAS I kinda blank out... I don't necessarily want to even enter them.... I don't super much care if I win or loose.... and I hate picking one person over another.
..... but when it comes time to vote I keep up on the results...so I must care a little. :)
My favorite are the challenges that are more free form, no winner no time limit.
but the pressure of the more rigid contests can produce some unique results so I participate and enjoy those too.
Like the Earth Wind and Fire thing.... I posted it without any concept of what
I would submit... and it forced me to really push for a result.
:)
