I'm not gonna flaunt on the fact I beat you more than you beat me. That wouldn't sit well with me as I know you're not interested in hardcore play. However if you want, I'll lose more on purpose. Not only will this boost your ego, all your vids will get a chance to showcase the CAS properly. I'll make sure to play stupid and lose. Then, once you post your vids of you defeating me, I'll start the giant wall of text of critiquing your CAS you'll use against mine.
That aside, you have way too much CAS for me to keep up with and I literally need patience to scroll through a library of CAS. However, you've already impressed me a lot. I don't have as much drive as you to create stuff like a maniac, but I admire that from you. You have a some CAS that wow me and others that aren't of my taste.
Regardless, keep on sharing.
Now that sounds more appealing to me that getting crushed and AB all the time ;o) and you don't need to flaunt, you are one of the most respected Yoshi players in the world, i know that, and i admire that too (because Yoshi is one hell of a beast to master)...i posted vids of you crushing my Teeria with Pocky recolor, remember, just because it amazed me how flashy most of your moves and combos were.
And again, don't think i am not the competitive/hardcore player, or come join me in a battlefield session and challenge me in a jet or a tank, watch my shared replays on shift 2 unelashed or FM4, or more generally have a look at my gamerscore and achievements, or behold my 1000G at Kameo (people will laugh, but rare fans know that this is the most hardcore platformer ever released on 360, if you wanted high scores that is)...
Admittedly, i have never been very hardcore in fighting games (i still beat TOLS in SCIV and ended with more than 75% wins in ranked, but i had more time back then for training and all)
Just as in CAS, i am more to aesthetics and nice moves than spamming 10 hit juggle combos that take 3/4 of your life bar and make no sense to me in a SCIV (more Marvel vs Capcom stuff if you get me)
I understand it is very hard to comment when you are litterally drowned in (put an adjective here) CAS, i have the same problem when somebody posts 20+ CAS all of a sudden and is expecting precise comment on each and everyone of them, i can hardly keep track myself, especially not good at reading background stories...
I'd say what irritates me most is somebody posting an unoriginal CAS and making a bloated 2 pages long background story to counterbalance (waste of time, won't make me bat an eyelid)
And you see, i rarely express myself on my own CAS and stick to design notes, because i prefer others to tell me (and it is of course very subjective, some like cuties, some Anthros, some get nightmares out of them ;o), and see, when i do say i am proud of one, like this Taki, it is usually the only time i get less passionate feedback, so it is safer to stick to the "don't comment on your own stuff" rule hehe.
There are people that are really good at doing that kind of extensive reviews though, i'd name Le Bello (as my absolute favourite for the choice of words and that farewell post that really moved me, i will requote it again), and of course Fliptop and The Pascuzzi, or my lovely KiraxSummers friend.
You see that is the kind of discussion i like to have on a forum, not hardcore stuff, but still pleasant to read for you i hope...
Thanks for the compliments at the end of your post, that makes up for it ;o)
