Excellent. CaS pieces have a tendency to really bulk up, but you've chosen just the right combination of pieces to maintain the Cap'n's wiry, yet muscular build. The ruffled haircut and eye-patch are a near perfect match for the original. Again, I'd try using that golden phoenix sticker to add some extra hair around the eye if you have the slots. The rose he carries adds a hint of romance and hope not otherwise apparent from his bad ass/utilitarian space suit. I've never seen the swimming pool pattern used to emulate clothing folds before, but it does an excellent job of adding detail to his plain jumpsuit. Anime characters tend to have crazy clothing wrinkles too, especially classic ones. The skull print was also very clever. I'd never have thought of using the card club and patch to carve out the eyes and nose (sticker combinations ftw indeed). I much prefer the first version of the skull over the second though. The lower placement of the patch sticker gives the skull a meaner, angrier look, which contrasts more with the romance and hope symbolized by the rose. I can't pick out what exactly you used to make the crossbones (horns?), but good call on that one too. Overall, an excellent recreation of an classic character.
P.S. ~ That portrait with the shining sword is awesome. Super heroic.
P.P.S. ~ Yeah, I'll update my gallery, including Red Bull-tan, soon. Shoulda added some stripes to the crescent moon but watevs. Next time.
