Aeon General Discussion / Q&A

I'll read up more on the 22G glitch because I'm still not entirely sure on how it works and there might be a trick to the inputs. I wonder if there are any TC moves Aeon can cancel into while stepping postflash, although I highly doubt this will work. It might be that Aeon just doesn't step fast enough to outrun her grab, because she seems to swing her arm faster than Astaroth as well. I hope that's not the case though.

Did you try both 22G and 88G on both sides? Sometimes only one direction works.
You have to step in the direction that they swing their arm for it to work. Since Astaroth grabs with his right arm and swings from right to left you have to step to his left to dodge the grab, otherwise you just step into his hand. I imagine that Ivy is the same, although she's the opposite (she grabs with her left hand).

Fun fact. SW K does 10 less damage than normal (36 instead of 46) after a SW BE or SW BE cancel is performed. Because SW BE and its cancel were clearly too powerful when SW K did full damage after those moves are performed.

A funny thing about 1B$ and playing offline: Since you're right next to them, you can see their reaction when they get caught by 1B$. Most of the time you know if their gonna tech or not just by how pissed they are of being hit by the move.

That dead trap turns the tides of a fight so freaking fast if it hits. Roll and run back and do Camilla Style Dune Riser and you'll often punish a whiffed wakeup attack. I swear I've had it actually combo sometimes.

Vs Pyrrha's 22_88A/CH 1K 66B BE, if you UJG the 1st hit and you step to her back and do a 33_99B combo, you can do 44K AT ender which will only do 94. With a 44B, A, A ender, it does 98. The weirdest thing is that if you do that combo(44K AT ender) without the whole setup, it normally does 104. Mysterious...

The way i see it everyone will gain and get alot of meter eventually...plus like yoshi's rainbow drop throw it does 65 damage which is very good for a throw...only difference here is that aeon's B+G will change ring positioning. I personally made yoshi's 214 A+G throw my new A throw. Which i rather sacrifice ring positioning for damage.

65 damage is pretty hefty for a non-back throw. The meter you get yourself isn't too shabby either if I recall correctly.

You give your opponent a bit more meter than you gain yourself

But thanks for the input

I think it might have a smaller grab break window like most command throws, too. Not too sure though
