Arcana Heart 3: Coming to US on PSN

Is the EU 360 release region free or whatever?

I bought AH1, and it was alright.

But, if there's nobody around here to play AH3 with, meh anyway.

It's not the 5th anymore, it's the 19th, which means 90% of the people who would have bought it won't, because they'll get MK instead.

(the rest already imported)

Hey arseholes the PSN store is back up, give this game a shot if you haven't already.

Or if you happen to live in Europe and have a 360 you can get it for that lol.

Going to go ahead and get into this since BBCS2 basically ruined BB for me and MvC3 is getting boring; anywhere I can go ahead and read up on stuff like all of the arcana effects and whatnot?

So... I'm not quite sure what Arcana Heart is. Obviously it's a fighting game, but in truth, I'm not quite sure what the marketing schtick is all about. I'm assume with its pink colors and assortment of girl characters that the game was intentionally marketed towards girls (as there seems to be a lack of them in the fighting game scene) as an attempt to corner or expand a certain market. Of course, I have heard that this game attracts many male gamers for various reasons (much like Sailor Moon did and much like the new My Little Pony series does).

Still, I'm not quite sure I grasp the whole concept or idea behind the game.

@Windstar: Ignore the aesthetics and look at the game for the gameplay instead, if possible. If you want a "basic concept" of the game it's the homing mechanic. There's tutorials on youtube for it but beyond videos you're best off playing the game for yourself.

@CY: Stop buying so much shit then.

It was marketed towards people who like anime I guess. Though if you don't have some existing anime franchise backing you up you're pretty much doomed to failure. Which is a testament to how fun the game is because it wouldn't have survived a week otherwise.

Well, I don't mind giving the game a shot, but I can't really a character that has a particular appeal for me. Sine 99 percent of the characters I play tend ones that I find asthetically pleasing. Then again I've barely given the game a glance.

Still annoyed by that and no 360 release, the US scene would be much healthier if people who only have a 360 could play and practice it.

@Windstar: If that's the case then you can probably find a character that isn't "too" girly for you.

There was an AH3 station set up at CEO.

I saw it but didn't really want to play it. It's in line with Guilty Gear, which is something I don't really dig. Plus it looks like it should have OTGs but apparently doesn't...but I guess that's a personal complaint.
