A Soul in the Purgatory
This is a compilation of any and all moves that have been seen in trailers. All moves under new moves have inputs made up of the inputs of similar moves, if applicable. All returning moves use Soulcalibur 4 animations unless otherwise stated.

DISCLAIMER: All of these videos show a game that is still in progress. So please don't whine about Namco "breaking" Siegfried just because you haven't seen your favorite move yet, or if they've changed an old move.

NEW MOVES

3aA - SC4 3A faked into SC4 22_88A.
BB2A - SC4 B + SC4 B2A. Can be held for guard break.
BBK - SC4 BB followed by a mid-kick. From Soul Blade.
B4B - SC4 B4 with another vertical. Reminiscent of SC2 Nightmare BB.
B4bG - Same as above, but cancels into SCH.
4BK - 4B headbutt, then 6K.
SCH Brave Edge - It looks like SCH K, then SC3 SCH A+B.

New Horizontal 1 - Similar to SC4 SRSH A, but from normal stance, and causes Guard Crush.
New Horizontal 2 - The second hit of SC4 66KA.

New Vertical 1 - A hilt poke similar to SRSH B, but done in normal stance and appears safe.
New Vertical 2 - Similar to B4, but with a heftier animation and causes Guard Crush.

New SBH 1 - The second hit from WR AA done directly from SBH.
New SBH 2 - The cancel from WR AA2 done directly from SBH. Leaves Siegfried in FC.
New SBH 2 - SBH (K) done instantaneously. Brave Edge.

New SSH 1 - Three verticals - similar to SC3 22_88BB + last hit of 44BB, from SSH.
New SSH 2 - Nightmare's NSS K from SC4.

New SRSH 1 - A quick low kick that puts him in SBH. Stuns on hit.
New SRSH 2 - Nightmare's 66A done from SRSH.

Critical Edge - Siegfried stabs the ground, and then ice shoots up out of it. Linear.

I thought 3B got a new animation...Or is it my imagination? Or it could be a new move...
I saw that on the vid we were shown today... I think it was at 7.10 or something...

Yes it did! Slipped my mind when I was making the thread.

I should add, if anyone sees anything that is incorrect or out of date, and they have a source, either post here or on my page and I'll change it ASAP.

"There's a new attack system called the Brave Edge and the Critical Edge. The Brave Edge is something that allows you to take certain moves from characters, and it will either power them up, so they'll do more damage, or it will decrease the reaction time for them so you can use them in combos, more so than other moves, or they'll be certain attacks that are so powerful they'll just break your opponent's guard immediately." - Dennis Lee, video 2 under sources.

Essentially, Brave Edge moves are regular moves that use bar and give properties similar to those that Soul Charge used to give. Also I have no idea what EX means. I've never heard it before.
 
I don't suppose if we win with a critical edge the screen flashes maniacly then rates your offence, defence and technique does it??
 
B4 GBs its in the demo vid in the media section in the match with sieg and phyrra. its at 6:54 i think. it didnt show the full animation becuase phyrra interrupted it.

That would be the new vertical I was referring to. What with the flash and all, I'm not entirely sure if that IS B4, especially since the animation is one never before seen. I'm not saying that you're wrong, it's just that I want to be 100% sure that a move is what we say it is, and it's important that we have as much information about moves as we can before we put something down on here, lest we have people jumping for joy or getting their knickers in a twist over something that ends up not being at all true.
 
How about 3 [ B ]? I saw it in the vid in the 1st link at 3.53, where Sieg kicks Mitsu's ass (BTW that was his 1st SCV win). It hasn't changed as I see, still leads to SCH!!! HYPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I like what I see so far from SCV's Sieg! Honestly all of my favourite moves are in and more importantly I love those additions from SC3!!!
 
Old SC2's NSS'B that's 22B in SC4, as possible new SSH'B. On the 1st video source at 3:47.
I want SC3's RSH'A as his new 66A or whatever but I want that long mid horizontal back.

O_O Shit, I just saw Patroklos getting hit by Sig's RSH'A from SC3 at 5:22!! Its the same knockdown animation that SC3's RSH'A makes, & you can see the zweihander crossing horizontally through Patroklos mid body! ^_^

Heaton, EX stands for "enhanced moves" like in MK9 or "EXtra priority added moves". Its been around in some fighting games since StreetFighterIII, not sure tho. But that's what it is & that's what BraveEdge is.
