BD Changes to Cassy

Just somethings I've found with Cassy in my day with Broken Destiny:

lower damage on her staple combo's. 236 236 4BB:A, 236 2B8BAA, 236: 236: 236: 236: 4BB:A all do about 10 damage less. 33B A+B 236: 4BB:A does 89.

11_44_77K 4BB:A connects on all characters for 78 damage as long as it's not at max distance, otherwise 4B whiffs.

236:A works like 236: in combo, unaircontrollable.

Soul Gauge/Critical Finish game got changed period with you now starting in blue and having the armor purge option. Cassy specific SG stuff:

44B+K breaks in 20
66A+B breaks in 14
B+K B breaks in 9 1/2
A+B+K(CF move) breaks in 8
66B breaks in 20
66A breaks in 20
44A breaks in 23
11_44_77K breaks in 19
33B breaks in 19
22 breaks in 20
6B breaks in 15
3B breaks in 17
4BB:A breaks in 12
8B+K breaks in 14
22B+K breaks in 16

Everything else is over 25 I think. Can't do 236 all that well on the PSP pad, but got to 12 hits of 236 and the gauge was still more green than yellow(the half way point).

4BB:A only combo's on counter. The :A is blockable if you get hit by 4BB on NH, not duckable though. Amy's 6B can be blocked so it seems pretty safe as long as only the :A is blocked.

Step seems to have been buffed all around, so yes Cassy's step seems to be improved.

Frames seem in tact:

1K on hit seems to still be -1
BK still seems to be +2 on block
236K still seems to be 0 on block
wr[A] still seems to be -2
Tested using SC4 frame data from the wiki with Cassy vs. Cassy.
 
What about 33B A+B 236: 236: 4BB:A? Still 92?
How exactly does 236:A work? Is it the same animation as SCIV 236A? Is there still a B follow up?
 
236A is the same move as in SC4, same animation, still has the B follow up. 236:A does the same thing 236: does when used in a combo, makes it so you can't air control away guaranteeing the B follow up.
 
Changes do sound kind of bad, but at least they're mostly just slight damage nerfs. Nothing compared to how badly they seem to have nerfed Mina.

They nerfed mother ****ing Mina.
 
It's all I've found thus far, but I've only had the game for a day. Give it a bit of time. I'm also not usually someone who finds anything in fighting games so be happy I've found what I have
 
So far all we really have are damage nerfs.
If you can find out frames on things like 1K, BK, and some other things that would be cool.
Maybe 214 has JFs now. Oh yeah see if 4BB:A still combos on NH.
 
236:A sounds interesting.

The damage nerfs? Bah, why? Its not like any of these did ridiculously huge amounts.

Other things to check:
-Does WR A still whiff through your opponent even when they aren't blocking sometimes? Lost a round to this again today :(
-What's her new guard break/CF move like?
-Is her soul gauge damage any different?
-Is her step any better/faster than before?
 
No 4BB:A on NH that's stupid! Its a just frame for crying out loud! Though, I guess, one never really uses it outside of a combo anyways.
 
Eh. You had to semi-hit confirm it, and with the damage boost everybody got, the old damage wasn't exactly too much either.

Does 66B+G, 4BB:A still work then? =0
 
That's hilarious. All her combos do less damage, in exchange for DAT ASS. Does it still only work on some people and not others?
 
That combo is incorrect but she does have a half life setup now that looks exactly 120. Can't remember what it is. IdleMind figured it out and I think it has something to do with Cass's new 236:A just frame. I think I understand what it is but will let him explain for accuracy sake.
 
little bit more added to first post. Just a couple frame things, not sure I used the best way to test it though.

Also, 236 236 44B+K is 53 damage from what I'm seeing when using it...
 
SU is right we need to find places to use that new JF. I bet they nerfed her other combos to encourage using 236:AB instead. Test things like
33B A+B 236:AB
Also see if you can get any 236:s in before the 236:AB

Also try 236: 236: 236:AB
Also check if more 236:s can be done before the ender

See if WSB 236: 236:AB is possible

That's all I can think of right now.

Most of what you listed I've already tried, either it does't work or isn't most damaging option.
33B A+B 236:AB is 79 damage
33B A+B 236: 4BB:A is 89 damage.
33B A+B 236: 236:AB is 88 damage
33B A+B 236: 236: 4BB:A is 99 damage
I was unable to do WS B 236: 236:AB. However, WS B 236: 4BB:A is possible for 71 damage. WS B 236:AB does 61 damage.
236: 236: 236:AB is 62 damage, while 236: 236: 236: 236: 4BB:A is 71 and max deathfists you can do.
see the same pattern I see? seems every 236:AB can be replaced with at least a 236: 4BB:A for about 10 more damage.
 
can't test anything anymore until at least this weekend...my PSP finally died on me. It was a launch model though so I'm not too sad, it lasted a long time.
