Actually I'm not taking it seriously. If you'll notice, some of comments on this thread are quite flippant. But that last comment wasn't to the maker of the thread or anything. It was just to point out that his challenge to lamonte wouldn't mean much. -_-

And you're somewhat correct about Xeph taking all the top spots, but I've seen his Maxi...Not one of his better characters. Lol. His Mitsu is pretty bad, too. But he probably hasn't invested any time into really learning such characters. Sorry Xeph! But nonetheless, the guy reigns supreme.

Thats the spirit, i like it. I would love to see Xeph actually try to take those Maxi and Mitsu spots now (hint).

and the reason I pointed out lamonte because you go around on this forum boasting about his/her viola.

Mirror matches are the quickest way to determine,
It should be based on a mirror match, match vs 2-3 other players
Mirror matches are necessary because first of all how can you be the best of a char without knowing them inside out, plus it acts as a safeguard against lack of MU knowledge
and the other matches just to add balance.

just saying i beat lamonte with my A:6 spamming natsu.........yep. the best online viola i have played is pootytang; he actually uses his brain and has improven alot in terms of his style of using her and his fundamentals last time i played him.

i have played too many violas online......they all suck or just spam 6B+K without knowing how to use it....except for pooty. of course there might be other online viola players in america that i am missing

the best viola overall is well....you know.....LP
 
Thats also the hard thing is that doing cross continent top lists is that the the whole lag issue plays a huge detrimental role, augmented by different playstyles, where as a mediocre spammer could easily beat an intelligent passive player simply because the lag forces them to guard. Yeah no offence to lamonte and obviously the connection isnt great but I dont see what bunny is going on about, but then again thats coming from a player who is supposedely good against viola but twitch ducks, and blocks low pokes in a mixup where 3B is prevelant, and repeats that bad habit.

A:6 > i block attack > A:6 > i block attack > A:6

that is spamming in the online world.
 
I see a lot of talk but no challenges.

Bunni your system would take to long and have to involve 26 people aside from the person who is challenging. I also doubt that the average online player wants to learn every match up. Also who would the other 26 players be, I mean how do we decide who to allow to represent each character for the purpose of judging one other player.

No, I am not interested, and I haven't payed it much attention. I just came across it today and posted two comments to which some people, including yourself, replied to. I have not gone around bragging on lamonte. I only mentioned in my anti-Viola post that he was one of the best, if not the best, Viola players I've fought (at that time). I have nothing further to add to that, bushindu. Please stop finding me in comments sections like your buddy has been doing.

I'm not telling anyone to do what I said. I was simply responding to Bushindu and his "challenge" to lamonte. I even made sure to point that out in the comment.
 
I would challenge Mateo but Mateo is on TT2 and as for DINO- I think he still plays? If not, I'll challenge his 1st placement.

As for Maxi, Kvasir is inactive, and Krazyie isn't even on the fucking list. As for HRD, I challenge HRD for his 2nd spot placement, or for 1st placement spot if Kvasir remains inactive (if he is)

And my Mitsurugi is amazing, and my Maxi is like amazing.
